Thanksgiving break was AMAZING. I was back with the truest, most incredible people I know and have spent the majority of my life with... and the fact that we had been apart for so long and were then being reunited for only a few days made it even more special and lovely. I missed the Salv a bit, I won't lie, but nothing beats home. Let's see...
Tuesday after bio Mr. Toce came and picked me and Brittie up. When I got home I basically threw my shit down and then went to Uno's for dinner with the family for Daddy's birthday. I love it when we're all silly and ridiculous and lovey together... it's too cute. Around 9ish I went and picked Jessica up and we met Jessie, Mike, Brian, and Tommy at Taco Bell. We ran into Jen Welles there and it was nice to see that chickadee. We sat there chatting/loitering for a while which was pretty sweet. My fave was, "...you couldn't even see his package cause there was so much skin hanging over it." Ay yi yi. We then caravanned to Beer's casa for a bonfiyah with some kids. We caught up, reminsced, and talked about MattKorn a lot... almost if he was no longer with us. Yeah, we're obsessed, oh well. Jess and I were supposed to pick Mindel's up at the airport at 11:29 but her flight kept getting delayed over and over, so we hung out for a while longer, went to Heather's to visit her and Momma Racks, and then ended up going with Mrs. Gold to the airport to pick Mindy up at 2:22am. Yowzahs. And we definitely ran and embraced in the airport terminal... JEALOUS?!
Wednesday I went around 10ish to the high school with Mindy to visit. We saw Sen and she hugged us pretty damn hard. We sat through one of Henchey's senior honors classes and stared at her lovingly. We saw Martineau/SoundFactory, the Rockstar, and some random kids, and then busted out. I dropped her off to do shiz with momma and then picked Heather up and went to surprise Phu at work in Avon. We visited him and then went to dinner at Flatbread Co, our new FAVE restaurant that we wonderfully discovered. It's like the best little organic food/pizza restaurant... SO GOOD. After eating we came back to my casa and a bunch of babies came over and took cute pics, hit up DunkinDonuts, and then went to the Sdub v COCKville football game in Rockville. We were getting killed the entire game and then somehow managed to come back and win. Crazy biz. But it was basically just the hugest, most insane reunion ever, especially for the Class o' 2006. <333 I'm pretty sure I hugged and loved everyone and their moms. It was amazing. Except for the part where I dropped my cell phone and it broke into two piece. That was NOT FUN. AT ALL. I basically sat on the ground in disbelief, on the verge of tears. Ya'll don't understand... I cannot live without my celly. Ahhhh, anyway. After the game the girls regrouped at Mindy's, and then went and met up with a bunch of fools for food at Friendly's (pretty sweet alliteration right there). After taking over the restaurant per usual, we ALL went back to Mindy's... it was great. Like 25 of my fave people reunited in the basement that it all went down in. Ahh. Around 11, me Jessie and Heather left and went to Sam Brown's with some kiddos. There was a lot of conflict over a stupid game of flip cup, but I got to rekindle love with the Demaios and Spads. Around 11, Heather, Demos, and Ryan piled into my car for me to bring them home and the best moment of my life occured when "the hardest thing" by the 98 degrees came on the radio. AMAZING singalong. I miss that. When we got to the twins house, Scheuster, Chris Norman, Taylor Stecko, and a few other random kids were there, so we went down into their basement and hung out and played some drinking game for a while. I went home around 3 and it was a wonderful first day home.
Thursday was THANKSGIVING!! Yayyyy. La famiglia came over and we ate a lot alot alot. We played some intense taboo and setback, and I played pretty pretty princess with Abriana. She's kinda my fave. I'm obsessed with my fam. <3 Uhm, so, I got pretty crunked, ate more, watched Grey's, and went to sleepies.
Friday I got up earlier than I have since high school at worked BananaRep 9-5 on Black effin Friday. Insanity. But it really wasn't as busy as I'd expected, thank the lord. It was SO GOOD to see everyone. At one point, a bunch of us old folks were in the break room and everyone that kept coming in were from our old "family" and we were all just like AWWWWW, FAMILYYY!! We had Thanksgiving #2 with the ridiculous feast in the break room... too many pizzas, a HUGE salad, baked ziti, stuffing muffins, homemade fudge, 5 different pies, cookies, etc. I'm sure there was more that I'm forgetting haha. When I got out, I went and got mom's old phone activated with my number cause I couldn't live w/o my celly! I came home and relaxed and recouperated for a while until Mind's picked me up at 7ish and we went to her house with Adge, Jess, Margot, and Jessie. We played a wicked INTENSE game of Kings that lasted a good 2 hours. Ah, never a dull moment with those pookies. I could've just stayed there forevah evah. At 9:30ish (already drunk), we dropped Margs off, hit up 7-11 for mixers, and hit up the FIESTA at Heather's. The most random yet amazing people were there. We played some bp and flip cup, hugged and were in love a lot, Pepin shotgunned a beer with the pizza delivery man, etc. At 11:30ish, Momma Racks called and said Dad was coming home (cause she's obviously always in on it haha) so we (being me, Jackie, Chan, Kev, Meg, and Kela) got everyone out and cleaned up at lightning speed... but apparently we weren't quick enough. So he got home, had a shit fit, and we all busted the fuck out. We met up with Mindy and the boys at Friendly's for some chow. Twas an interesting evening, especially for Miss Jessica Lynn Thibodeau. :p From there me, Minds, Josh, and Mike went back to Mindy's to snuggle and be cuties. Mike dropped me off at home around 1 and I don't even really remember coming into my house/gettin into bed. But anyways. It was an AMAZING, CRAZY day/night... only to be expected from the 06074.
Saturday was work at BRep 11-4. With a slight hangover. I forget how un-fun that used to be. Anyway. At 5 I picked Mindelina and Heather up and we went over to Vanessa's with Jessie, Adge, Kelsey, Jess, Margot, Megan, Chelsea, Rachel, and Jackie for VanLan's 18th birthday dinner! Her parentals made us the best dinner ever and we have the best conversations ever packed at that table. I pretty much laughed off everything I ate. And that's why I cannot get enough of being around them. My all time favorite was Megan's impression of her roomie: "Oh my god, like all the girls on the squad have the whooping cough!" Hahah, ahh, had to be there. We aat around the table eating Mrs. Langer's suhweeeet cheesecake and having the most classic convos ever. Around 9:30ish we hit up the boys' hotel party... good times. Then after Mrs. Stanley called Jess and ask that we come over haha we went over there to hang out and watch the game with her, BStans, Geoff, Bri, and Mike. On the way out of his house with the girls, we spotted deer frolicking through the neighborhood. Only in SDub do deer hang in out neighborhoods. That's why I love ROCKIN THE SUBURBS. Anyway, we hit up TacoBell cause that's what we do. I was gonna go to Jared's with Jessie and Jess, but upon passing my house, decided I might as well go home and get one good night's sleep. So I did. <3 my bed.
This morning Mom got me up at 10 and we all went to Dzen's to get our Christmas tree!! Wahooo. It was the typical fighting over which one/just wanting to leave/being ridiculous and silly, tree shopping trip. We got home, decorated the beast, and then Matt brought me and Britt back to school for 3. And now I'm here. And I need to unpack and then I get to reunite with my the ABCJK and have a feast and be back in love. I'm excited for them, but I'm not excited to be back here really and I just wish I hadn't had to leave my Sdub Lovers. It was an amazing weekend... I can't stop saying that. See you guys in 17 more days when I'll be 'home for the holidays'!
