Folsom - If you're in any way involved in hardcore in Tucson you should know damn well who this band is. their set lasts typically 13 minutes, being the most brutal 13 minutes of your entire life.
Will To Live - Leading the charge of a dozen texas hardcore bands, WTL is hardcore, no bullshit, no pretty boys batting their eyes, no lame ass melodramatic lyrics. sorry to all you hardnow kids who don't recognize that atreyu is watered down dogshit, take this chance to learn what hardcore is about. Die Young - Intelligent, socially, morally, and politically concious lyrics. Not too mention fast and pissed off music. For the kinda old dudes who know hardcore ain't about guitar solos and tight jeans. Die Young
Fist Fight and tucson's own Another Setback will be appearing as well.
This will probably be my last show that i book, so it'd be cool to see a buncha kids there enjoying themselves. i encourage anyone to come check it out. i don't mean to rip on atreyu fans but what i tend to see is kids today will say they like hardcore, but the only bands they will go support live are the ones they've heard already on trustkill. there's more to hardcore than what's handed to you. the point of underground music is to seek it out and support it (and hey maybe if you go out and hand out demos of your oh so METAL CORE band, more people might be at your shows.) here's your chance to find something you might like.
to anyone in tucson, or kids in phx that plan to come down and support the show, if you could do me the favor of telling someone about this show, reposting it on LJ, to your friends on AIM, anything would be helpful. at the very least just show up and have fun, great bands, a great buncha dudes. sorry if you read this twice, i'm just trying to reach the most amount of people. - JaXon
