I've applied for countless jobs at this point, and nothing.  Today, upon sifting through Myspace bulletins, I found a tattoo shop looking for a piercer, called the number, and set up an interview for Wednesday.  Wouldn't that be ironic if I landed a job in the same field through the very avenue that I got fired?  My getting fired via Myspace was a low blow...

Anyway, I really didn't want to go back to a tattoo shop at this point, but if I'm offered the job, I'm going to take it.  This shop is in a much better location than the last one I was at.  It's also close to the expressways, and not out in BFE.  I know they do a lot of tattoo business there, so hopefully they get a good amount of piercings too.  My biggest concern about going back to a tattoo shop right now is the state of the economy.  Tattoos and piercings are the "extras" that people are currently cutting out of their budgets.  Hell, established restaurants are closing because people are buying potatoes, mac & cheese, and hamburger helper-- and cooking dinners at home.

If they're looking to hire somebody at the shop, though, you'd think that they have the business.  I guess I shouldn't over-analyze the situation.  Who knows what my chances of getting this job even are?
