muzik every day

look, i know no one reads my journal, but i have just downloaded this thing called last fm and i think it could be a really good thing to have.
not because it might help me meet more annoying people, but because it might help me meet more groovy music!
and of course, it's free as in freedom and free as in beer.

I dont really listen to music too much at home. I put them the mp3s on a CD, and play it on my mp3 player in the car, since I'm in the car for at least 2-3 hours per day (if not more, since I'm in sales)/.

my house has 3 floors (not counting the cellar) and my computer is on the ground floor playing music, and i'm in the attic doing something for 5 minutes, and i come down to find i've missed a rasputina song! or i've just terrorized the neighbourhood with a noisy my ruin song that i didn't even hear...
so yeah it's very hard to listen to music in this house.

music in the car is the best reason i can think of to have a car.

I dont really multitask too much when I listen to music. Like I dont use the computer or read, while listening to music, because it then becomes background sound, and cant really appreciate it.

While, on the surface the car is also multitasking, I am usually in a (dangerous) trance while driving, so I'm basically just listening to music. Could explain why I have a hard time finding places.

hahaha yes exactly though, when you drive you're captive, and it's an excuse to listen to music

i have terrible issues of guilt!
i want to listen to music and read books - but i have too many important things to get done!! so i have to find a niche in my day to do these things.
public transport enables me to read, housework enables me to listen to music

it sounds crazy, and it is.

I kept really sit and do nothing. So, if I'm waiting in a hospital for my appoitment or something, I'll be reading e-book on my mobile. If I'm eating something, I'll probably put a newspaper in front of me, and read it while I'm eating.

if i am alone, i cannot eat without reading or *surfing the web*
and thus i eat fast, and forget about food, even though i'm a big foodie and i know it's healthy to eat slow.
one thing that really bothers me is i never read newspapers any more. just before the iraq war, i bought a newspaper every day, and i still have them because i was terrified that the media would lie about it, that the things that have happened would be misremembered and manipulated and misrepresented. i wanted to have evidence.

Well, i mainly said "newspaper", because they usually are available at fast food joints to pick up and read. Otherwise, I would read anything else available, even the back of a ketchup.

chek always says that i will read anything, even the cereal box
but this is not true
i do indeed read the cereal box, because i want to know about ingredients, but only for as long as it takes to find out what i want to know...
i hate reading junk, it gives me a headache. i need some meaning.
