A little tardy but sometimes it's nice to reflect...
1. What did you do in 2015 that you'd never done before?
Gone to Mexico, rescued an animal, practiced true forgiveness.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I'd resolved to work on myself and sadly I got distracted and let that fall by the wayside.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No one that close to me but yes, many a birth was given this year.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Me a little bit. It's been a year of starting again from scratch but thankfully no one close to me actually died.
It did hit pretty close to home when the year began with a long time colleague of mine committing suicide. I last saw him on the last day of work before Christmas break and neglected to even say hi.
5. What countries did you visit?
USA, UK, Italy, Mexico.
6. What would you like to have in 2016 that you lacked in 2015?
My ducks in a row and more time for me.
7. What date from 2015 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Feb.5 - Jon took my power and my life from me.
Apr.5 - Meeting Tom saved my life.
May.26 - Was told that I no longer have to take my awful meds for endometriosis and that I in fact can conceive naturally right before boarding a plane to spend 3 weeks with Tom.
Aug.21 - I failed my presentation and my class and thus began my stint in limbo. It was also the last time my father and I spoke to eachother before he told me he's not the right person to be my father right before xmas and asked me to kindly remove myself from his life.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting myself back and moving forward fearlessly.
9. What was your biggest FAIL of the year?
Losing sight of what's important and putting undeserving people first.
Not spending enough time with my best friend Dante.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes but what doesn't kill me...
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Plane tickets!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Robyn's, Liz's, Herb's, Krista's. Though none of them perfect, these people have been my rock too many times to count. And Dante's of course for always being the best most supportive and loving animal I could ever have asked for.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Pretty much everyone else's.
14.Where did most of your money go?
Traveling and restarting my life.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Tom.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? Less muscley.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Wish I'd spent more time w Dante and more time getting my shit in order.

Thinking about things I can't change.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
Moving/looking for a home. Having my heart broken.
22. Did you fall in love in 2015?
Yes.
23. How many one-night stands?
3 though 2 of them actually went somewhere.

Netflix.
25. Did you lose any friends this year?
Yes but I've also gained a few rly good ones.
26. What was the best book you read?
Did not do enough reading this year :(.

Pretty much everything.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I spent it in NYC w my dear friend Nicos. We walked around all day and then went to Dune Studios for pre-wedding dinner/party. I spent most of the evening texting with my new friend Tom.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Passing my directed studies course and getting into fulltime diploma.
33. How would you describe your persona fashion concept in 2015?
Westcoast edgy grunge chic
34. What kept you sane?
My wonderful, loving dog. And netflix.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Tom? Tim Armstrong?
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Syria.
37. Who did you miss?
My dogs when I'm at work/school.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2015
Trust and respect are everything. Don't lose them, especially when it comes to yourself.
Love and obsession are easily confused.
Take care of yourself, respect others and trust that what happens will be the best outcome for you.
Take more time for yourself and don't rush.
Crazy is as crazy does.
