No more silence
So, have finally managed to get my laptop speakers and cd drive to work, which is good as it means I can now play music without my stereo. I'm such a muppet, can't believe I left such an important thing down at my mum's.
Today has been another day of people getting in the way of me doing things. Went into the job centre and it turns out that two of the three jobs I picked up have been taken. Phoned up about them and was told very politely that the position had been filled. So why is it still advertised then? Bastards, all of them. Have got my dole claim sorted though and so should get my money on Tuesday. Finally. Hoping gran's money will go in tomorrow and so I won't have the weekend living on nothing at all.
In other news I've decided to actually make an effort for Rocksoc tonight. Will being going out to show people that I'm still alive and have new hair, new specs and have lost weight. Not to put too fine a point on it but my figure looks fab today. Anorexic according to my mother, but whatever. I eat, where's the problem? Bah, parentals!
Last night was interesting after the mess up with practice, we ended up getting about half an hour coz they thought we had cancelled, so we ended up in the union for Robling's 27th. All well and good apart from the lack of alcohol on my part. Hey, we even managed to get a whole group of people sitting in the "corner" again. Wooot! Faded out about ten or so and decided to just wait till Ian had finished his pint and then go home. Just wasn't in the mood anymore. Reckon it's still the hormones playing up but a pain in the arse whatever it is.
Should prob go make some dinner and eat before monkey phones to have a chat, and then out to Rocksoc even though I'll probably end up crashing fairly early. I'll make an appearnace at least, I fancy going, but I've had so little sleep lately it's unlikely I'll stay till the end.
