League Champ Baby
Woke up bright and early this morning to go play some hardcore tennis. It was nice that we got to host leagues and play on our own courts.
1st games Kendalyn and I played was againt Jackson Lumen Christi. The 1st set they killed us, 2-6, and they got a little cocky cause we kicked their butts in the next 2 sets, 6-4; 6-2. It seriously mad me soooooo happy. No one really thought that we would come out winners against Lumen of all people. So after we played them for THREE hours we had a 20 min. break and then had to play the SNOTTY girls from Ionia. They seriously pissed me off. I kept acing them and they kept calling them out, so we had to get a line judge, and they STILL tried calling stuff out!! Anyways we played them for 2 and 1/2 hours and beat them 6-2; 4-6; 6-3 I believe. I was way pumped after that cause our next match was to determine who was the league champ at 3rd doubles. Luckily we played Mason. Beat them lickity split 6-2; 6-4. I walked off the court and I started crying I was sooooooo happy, you have no idea. It was the best feeling ever. League Champ, who would have thought? Carrie and Brittney also won at 4th dubs. It was so exciting. There have never been 2 league champs at the same time from ER!! Whoaaa!!
