A funny joke

For the last... er... three days, or so, he's been calling.
The first day I looked at the phone while it was ringing and went "wahaha".
The second day I decided to switch it to mute.
The third day... is today, and I just checked, an hour ago or so, to find a couple of missed calls.

The only thing is that he's draining my batteries.
For the rest, I'm not even tempted to check the voicemail, let along answer, or reply.

Piss off.

My guess is that the deal went bust, and he still needs people there.

No sir. Sorry.

I'll be damned if I work for an indian guy again. Believe me, I like the slight racist offset even less than you. This is not how I am. This is not how I like to be at all, but... by now, unfortunately, I'm being nothing but objective.
It was not only him, but the entire community around him, that felt, and acted, too nasty for words.
I left Spain for less than that (though similar). I came to this place and found a respect I never had in my hometowm.
I'm not going to let a bunch of morons spoil that for me, sorry.

I've been fighting with myself again because of that: am I being racist here? What have I become over this?, blah blah...

The facts still check out as before, shortly after I arrived here, when I felt in a similar way towards the moroccan guys sitting on the street in front of their houses, commenting at any woman walking by (exactly in the same way men do in Spain, btw, for all you spanish lovers :)
And the facts are:

Q: Who exactly do I have a problem with?
A: Some males, 20 to 50 approx, of moroccan, turkish, or indian origin

Q: Do I have a problem with the women?
A: Nope

Q: Do I have a problem with the children?
A: Nope

Q: Do I have a problem having them around, if they don't bother me?
A: Not at all

So, all in all, I doubt it this could be labelled racism

Now, that might sound silly, but it really makes me feel a whole lot better.

Other than that, I must say it's a very weird feeling being free the whole weekend.
I need to adapt :)

My favourite Spanish band having released an absolutely delicious 11-track CD which I just finished downloading helps very, very much.
