So, now that school has started, I get to deal with that wonderful joy for yet another year. But, I think that this year might actually be different.. at least in a way.
I never realized how much I write and how much I love to until .. oh.. Last Tuesday. Now, don't get me wrong, I definitely don't enjoy writing for classes (unless it's for T's "Time travel" paper, and mine was amazing if I do say so myself) just like the next person.
Not that anyone who still reads this cares, but I'm actually fairly amazed that no one ever realizes how much certain things have an impact on their lives. Movies, music, friends, world events, colours, and what-not have such amazing impacts on life but no one ever notices. I know, I know.. I just said the same things twice, but it's all for fun and games, I suppose. If nothing else, I finally realized that.
Now, we all know what the typical back-to-school posts are like.. "omg i luv mi nu clases cuz i kno evry1 n its gon b a may zing this year" OR "i h8 u all," right? BUT, mine > yours mostly because it doesn't have much to do with school.
I just watched "V For Vendetta" for a second time and I'm amazed at how parts of European history impact us and we don't know it. Guy Fawkes just wanted to prove a point and he had an idea. That one idea could have changed quite a bit in history, including American history (to which I pwned the AP exam on, not that anyone cares).
So, to that I say..
Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot...
