Run

Is this to be our fate?

He hears a song on the radio that he just can’t seem to get out of his head, a song that seems to be warning him of impending doom, a song that haunts his soul.

Hide

Freedom is ours as long as we escape

Donghae is seated in the back seat of Eunhyuk’s car; he is seated next to Siwon.

Yesung and Eunhyuk are in the front seats, he had insisted on sitting in the back with Siwon but now he is regretting that decision.

Donghae can’t seem to shake the unknown feeling growing in his stomach. He wishes Eunhyuk’s hand was in his, he wishes the older male could take the feeling away. It’s a sickening feeling and Donghae wants cry but he holds it in, it was only a song.

We walk in the shadows

We do

For now but we all know

Our time is near

Donghae looks into the rear view mirror, catching glimpses of Eunhyuk’s eyes and smile in the reflection as they drive along the road. He wishes it were enough to ease the dread in his stomach, he wish that smile could appease his fear but it simple doesn’t. And how could it? When the feeling is that strong

This is the way it ends

Don’t tell me it’s meaningless

There’ll be no compromise

We fall and we too shall rise

You held me and taught me how

I think I am ready now

If this is the way it ends

This is the way it’s meant to be

Eunhyuk notices Donghae’s intense stare, like he’s trying to tell him something that Eunhyuk just can’t seem to grasp. Their eyes lock in the mirror and Eunhyuk sees the first tear fall from Donghae’s eye. He wants to ask, to turn around as comfort his lover, but it’s too late…

We will be spilled in blood

And this is the way that they’ll remember us

Emerge from the shadows

We will

Emerge from the shadows

The car was coming straight at them; Eunhyuk had no time to react.

This is the way it ends…

The cars smash head on, both going too fast for either driver to really do anything to save them from their fate.

…Don’t tell me it’s meaningless

There’ll be no compromise…

There is glass and metal scattered all over the road.

…we fall and we too shall rise

You held me and taught me how…

Donghae opens his eyes, he feels pain everywhere. Everything hurts. He feels rather than sees a warm liquid on his face and when he turns his head to the right. Along with unbearable pain that shoots down his spine when he turns his neck, his heart hurts when he sees Siwon’s lifeless and bloodied body lying next to him.

He wants to scream out for Siwon but he can’t speak. He panics and is about to completely lose it but then he remembers, they weren’t the only ones in the car.

He moves his head, completely ignoring the pain spreading through his body.

When he can see the front seat, he thinks maybe he shouldn’t have looked.

Yesung’s body is battered and bruised. The glass from the front window is embedded in his body, causing blood to flow out and spread in a way that has Donghae thinking red is the scariest color he’s ever seen.

Donghae’s tears burn his eyes and the cuts on his face but Yesung is not the person he wants to see. Not the person he NEEDS to see.

It would be hard, extremely hard but Donghae thinks he could get over Siwon and Yesung’s death eventually. Yes it would take years and thousands of hours of therapy but if he had one person with him he thinks he could do it. All he needed was one person, just one person to be alive. All he needed was Eunhyuk to be alive.

…I think I am ready now…

Donghae has to close his eyes and take a deep breath before he can look. This isn’t just anyone; this is Eunhyuk, his Eunhyuk. His soul, his heart, his reason for breathing.

Donghae looks; he gathers all his strength and looks. But he wishes he hadn’t, he wishes he’d have died. Why did he have to live to see this?

Eunhyuk wasn’t moving. But how could he, when his body was twisted into the steering wheel, when his arms were stained red from blood. When there was hardly a piece of him that Donghae recognized.

…If this is the way it ends…

Donghae screams out, screams out because there is nothing else he could do. He may be breathing but he was dead, he died when Eunhyuk died. There was no point, no reason.

He was in pain, so much pain. It hurt. Everything, it just hurt.

He reached forward trying to grab a hold of Eunhyuk. He was afraid. Afraid of being alone

…This is the way it’s meant to be

The smell of gasoline and blood lingered in the air.

Everything was silent, except for the sound of a song quietly seeping out of the stereo.

Under my skin, they fade away

Here’s to life with no regrets

See you again all one day

Give me love or give me death...

Donghae felt the heat but before he could process what it was the car ignited, burning everything and everyone in its path.

…Can anyone ever really say

This is the way it ends

And this is my life to give

The remaining members of Super Junior learned of the crash on the morning news, but it wasn’t revealed until later that night the names of the victim’s.

As they sat around listening to the vague details of the crash; tears, gasps, and all around pain flooded the room.

I was the end, how could Super Junior survive this?

This is the way it ends

Nothing is meaningless

There’ll be no compromise

We fall and we too shall rise again

If this is the way it ends

Then this is the way it’s meant to be

This is the way it’s meant to be

A/N: I don’t even know how to explain this…I seriously have to stop eating sugar; I think I’m starting to scare people XD

If you are waiting for my chapter fics, don’t worry I will write them, I’m just suffering from writer’s block right now :(
