Lazy Sunday

Had a lazy Sunday today. It started off awful when Connor woke up screaming around 7:45 a.m. When I went to check on him, I picked him up and found that he had a blow out and had gotten shit on my arm/hand, yuck! So I got to clean him up when I was only half awake.. And had to strip his crib sheet and throw that along with his outfit he had slept in in the washer then put Connor back to bed (he was beyond tired) and he slept another couple of hours. I did not go back to sleep, though. I knew that within a couple hours, we were going to get a phone call from Calliope's owners because Pat had agreed to help them unload hay bales for some cash today. I almost decided not to go out to see the horses when he went to help with hay bales (because of Connor being sick) but Connor and I did end up going. I knew Connor would be happy to get out of the apartment. Well, going out to the horses was a bad idea in a way. It made me really not want to sell Goldie. I love that horse far too much! I only brushed her today and put her fly mask on and sprayed her with fly spray since there was a lot going on out there with the unloading of hay, etc. I honestly don't know if I can part with Goldie. I feel so selfish to keep her but I honestly think I will lose it when I sell her.. I will do what I have to do for my family (well, I don't give a shit about helping Pat out.. But I do care about supporting Connor)

The good news today is that Connor's fever finally broke (has had the fever since Thursday evening). He basically slept the fever off this evening. I hope it does not come back in the morning! I really think he caught the bug that Pat and I had this past week. He was acting like he felt better tonight, though. He actually let me do dishes and other cleaning duties around the apartment with minimal fussing which he never does. He normally freaks any time I try to get things done around the house, lol.

My projects for this week are to a)make money by selling things b)get all of my forms mailed to DHS so we can hopefully get on SNAP and maybe get health benefits/free birth control and c)Finally fax the car seat receipt to my car insurance company so we can get money to get a new one after the accident (I know.. 2 months later.. Tsk tsk tsk).

I got a bunch of cleaning done tonight, yay! Did dishes, laundry (did ALL laundry this weekend including Connor's clothes, bibs, blankets, bedding, etc., mine and Pat's clothing, and our bed sheets), swept and mopped the bathrooms and kitchen, cleaned litter boxes, put clothes away, and just general picking up. I am a night owl tonight because I took a nap this evening when Connor napped, lol. So I am seriously considering disinfecting Connor's toys tonight still. And I need to e-mail a woman some pictures of a riding helmet I am trying to sell.

Anyway.. I am ready for another week of work. I seriously LOVE my job and it is one I look forward to every day! <3 It will be even better in one week when Con-man goes to work with me! Woohoo! I am grateful that my friend Amanda has been able to watch him the past couple of months, though. She has been great with Connor! It will be nice to have more socialization for him with other kids, though, and save me time and money with just having to drive from home to work instead of home to Amanda's to work then back.
