(no subject)
on sunday afternoon we found out about the accident. apparently my uncle was racing his crotch rockets like every other sunday afternoon except there had been something that went wrong and he had a terrible crash. my dad called my mom and i to let us know that he'd been hurt very badly...including two broken ribs, a broken neck, and a broken back in three spots. we left the store immediatley and came home to figure out what we were going to do. my dad and uncle matt decided to go down to virginia to help out how they can.
there are many more details that id rather not go all into on livejournal..but to make a long story short its been a bit stressfull around here lately. this accident of his, however, made me realize how important it really just is to LIVE. and to live everything to its fullest.
you hear it all the time.....about how you should live life to its fullest and dance like no ones watching...etc....all the same quotes...you know....
but its always things like this that really get me...because they just hit so close to home.
on a more positive note we've just recently found out that my uncle is being discharged from the hospital soon and they are going to let his back bones fuse back together naturally.
