XD I actually promised my friend Jana some fluff first but well, this was just swirling in my head and I had to write it down. It´s not much but I hope you guys enjoy it! =)
They both knew that this scene had to happen eventually, they also had gotten the script 3 weeks in advance, which wasn´t actually common on Glee, but Brad wanted them to have enough time to prepare.
Darren vaguely remembered saying that they would be ok, and he had actually believed it at that time.
Right now, there was screaming and yelling, and by the end of the scene they were both crying. Darren constantly wanted to reach out and touch Chris, wanting to hug him and tell him that it would be ok, but he couldn´t. This was a break up scene, and that essentially meant that they had to break up, not make up.
He vaguely heard the director call “Cut!” and “We´ve got it!” and Darren stopped in his tracks, but he couldn´t quite stop the tears streaming down his face. Chris seemed to snap out of the scene immediately though, taking a deep breath and wiping the tears away.
“I´ll be in my trailer.” He said, almost calmly, and turned on his heels, disappearing out of everyone´s sight.
Darren just stood there for a while, his body still tense, until he felt a hand on his shoulder, a hand that he could identify as Lea’s.
“Are you ok?” she asked and Darren looked up to meet her eyes. He opened his mouth, but no sound was coming out. The tight knot in his stomach kept twisting more and more and after staring at Lea for another moment, he couldn´t take it anymore. He turned around, and started running.

Chris made it to his trailer and closed the door after him, leaning against it. His heart was racing and his stomach was twisting, making him feel sick.
What the hell? He thought. It´s just a fucking scene!
Usually he was able to separate his acting from his real life feelings, but somehow with Darren, things seemed to melt together in a strange way. Chris closed his eyes to calm himself down, but it only made things worse. He immediately saw Darren, tears on his face and the hurt in his eyes was so real. Chris cringed just at the thought of it.
Chris knew that this was stupid, it wasn´t like they were actually breaking up, they weren´t even dating, and Kurt and Blaine would be fine in the end, so he shouldn´t be as affected by this as he was, but Chris couldn´t stop shaking.
He somehow made it to his
bed and collapsed onto it, immediately curling himself up.
He vaguely heard the door of his trailer open, but couldn´t even bother to look up. His whole body was tensed up, and all Chris wanted to do was hide, hide until all these weird feelings went away.
But suddenly Chris felt a movement on the bed, and strong arms came from behind and pull him close. Chris recognized Darren´s hands, gripping tight onto him, burning their warmth into his skin.
“I´m…I´m sorry.” Chris choked out, without even wanting to. He pressed back into Darren´s embrace, who took that as a sign to pull him even closer.
“I love you I love you I love you…” Darren whispers into his neck and they both knew that this was not them being Kurt and Blaine, this was just Chris and Darren.
Chris clutched Darren´s hands tight and just breathed, the sound of Darren´s voice soothing him, calming him down.
He slowly felt the knot in his stomach untangle and kept breathing, slowly bringing Darren´s hands up to his lips and pressing a soft kiss on every inch of skin he could find there.
“I know.” He finally whispered back. “Me too.”
