LOL! It seems that our MTV Twilight guy, Larry Carroll, has come to the dark side and taken a bite outta the forbidden fruit. That's right! Larry has become a Twilighter and has written an article telling us a little about his experience on when he first got the precious book that apparently he has, like the rest of the fandom, has gotten hooked on.

LMAO Good for you, Larry. However, there is a little something that I'd like to say.
Just because it's not some sci-fi/action novel that has a "MALE!" label on it doesn't make Twilight some girly book that will make you less manly if you read it. Also, just because it's listed in the YA section doesn't make you some pedo-bear and it's NOTHING to be embarrassed about. It's a good book, that's what matters. I don't want to bring HP into this or anything, but HP is listed as a YA book and I know TONS of adults that've read it (Huh...that's ok, right? At least I wasn't comparing them *shrug*).
Besides, it's not like Stephenie Meyer automatically decided "OH! Well I'll write a YA novel." I highly doubt that she would write a novel that would SPECIFICALLY be aimed toward young, female, tweens. That stuff is up to the publishing company or whatever, right?
No matter what age or gender it doesn't change that you, like the rest of us, LOVE the book because it's good and t's addicting.
You are not old and creepy (at least I don't think you are...) and you remaking the cover is something that MANY people have done, it's nothing new. It's pretty cool actually that you've read the books and love them as much as we do...or almost as much, we fangirls are obsessive crazy ass bitches XD
Oh and it's great and all that you're a "TwilightDad" but please, please, PLEASE do not follow in the footsteps of the TMs. Just, no.
At least we know that you'll understand our love for the books and why we are so nitpicky about certain things. You've catered to us practically since day one and we know that you'' continue to do that but as a fan so maybe you'll be more in tune with us and know what we want? (Pffft! Right...I dare not hope! XD) ANYWAYS, glad you like the series!
