Interview w/Twilight Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg & Pictures!

May 10, 2008 14:49

Yup! The Lexicon interviewed the 'Twilight' screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg! Yes, she's the one that wrote the script =3

There is, however, a scene in Edward’s bedroom where Edward tries to dance with Bella, who refuses. I initially wrote in the Staple Singers’ song, “I’ll Take You There” for that scene, because there’s no way you can
not dance to that song. Using that song would reveal just how anti-dance Bella was that she couldn’t dance to it. But the scene changed, and we wanted to fold in the Debussy piece that Stephenie wrote into the book, “Claire De Lune.” So the Staple Singers were out. I still can’t not dance to that song. Try it. Just try not dancing to that song. Impossible.

AHAHA! If you haven't heard that song the go HERE.

OMG I can imagine Robward trying to dance to that song, OH DEAR LORD! ROFL!!!

But YAY! I'm happy they're putting in Claire De Lune! Still, omg that mental image XD

And we have PICTURES! Not official or anything but these are some pix from the L.A. Times article! Movie stills? I think so! We'll have to see what Summit gives us and according to the article:
