The Young Wild Things Tour
So it was on a random Tuesday night and since it was Tuesday I had to go to school. Actually I was pretty thankful because it kept me busy even though I was totally off the wall like the whole time at school, especially in Geometry. So my mom picked me and Emily up and 12:30 and we went to the hair dresser to get my hair done. I was supposed to get extensions but that didn’t work out. After we were done we went back to my house and chilled for about an hour and or two and me and Emily took pictures and of course got ready for the concert, then after waiting what felt like forever my dad finally came home and got dressed and then we were on our way.
We finally got to Philly and pulled into the Wachovia spectrum. We were passing by all the tour buses and I saw two guys just standing around. I was just joking with Emily and I was like look Emily there’s Andy Hurley. Well I took a second glance and I realized that it actually was Andy Hurley right there in the flesh. Now we were in the car so I couldn’t say anything but I literally started hyperventilating and started freaking out saying Andy Hurley it was definitely the most interesting and hilarious thing of the night. After about 10 minutes of like flipping out I calmed myself down and I felt like an idiot for freaking out.
We got out of the car and went to the main box office to get our early entry/meet and greet passes. Well I don’t listen to anyone but me cause im so fucking stubborn and I assumed that the meet and greet winners go in with the early entry people. Well just kidding. We almost missed the fucking meet and greet cause I was gonna go in the wrong entrance, thankfully I ended up asking someone and me and Emily got to the right place, you no the place Emily told me to go originally. We stood there for like an hour until they lined us all up and we went out. There was like 398395 rules. [No cameras, no cell phones, only one autograph, you cant hug them, or sign Petes cast, god fucking damn these people are strict.]
So me, Emily and my dad were waiting and then they let us in. the first person was of course Patrick, I was hoping it wasn’t only cause well Patrick is my favorite. Well I got up to him and AHHHHHHHHHHHH he’s gorgeous and amazing and NOT fat, so people STFU. I smiled at him and said hey he said hi and smiled back. I gave him my shirt and the thing I made for him. Emily dared me to put PS ♥ SD so I did and when he saw it he just like looked at it and smiled back at me. I almost died. Then I asked him I was like “Patrick I gotta know do you sing in guilty pleasure.” I only asked this because I was convinced it was and Emily was like no, no, no it’s not him it can’t be him he’s not on the album sleeve. Well he responded “yeah I sing a lot of the backing vocals on the album.” And he started talking a little more but god I had to move. Stupid security. Oh and Emily said he skimmed through the back so he actually read some of my little letter. : D then I went to Andy he was extremely quiet, and I just really didn’t no what to say to him, so he just signed my shirt and I went over to JOE. I gave Joe my shirt and handed him his picture. [Emily has Andy and Petes, I had Joe and Patrick, cause there my two favorite.] There was a blue heart on the paper that said JESUS on it, cause he looks like Jesus. And he said to me “you no I do look like Jesus.” And I was like “yeah you do.” And he just smiled god I love him. Then I went to Pete. I handed him my shirt and all he did was smile at me, and I swear I lost all words, I couldn’t speak. I can honestly say now that his smile can MELT any girl’s heart. All he said was “Hi.” And I was like “Hi” but totally like out of it. So we had to leave and get back in line for the pictures. Six people had to go at one time and I was the fourth one. You would have never seen me walk faster to anywhere, then to get next to Patrick. And aha I did. And he like put his arm around my waist. And he actually had a pretty like strong grip on it too, I was in total heaven. Then we had to leave and I had the goofiest smile on my face. And all I could think was well first “holy shit I just met fall out boy” and the second thing that came to mind was “Were the therapists pumping through your speakers delivering just what you need.” So I sung that until we got upstairs to the actually concert. Oh and also my dad got his arms signed by them, and this girl wanted to cut off his skin for the autographs, and they called him old man, it was pretty amazing.
Once we got to the actual concert, Emily thought it was better to get the shirts before we got in the pit cause it was just going to be 349583 crazier after the concert, she was probably right so we got the shirts. I got the actual tour shirt, and then the clandestine robot shirt, and the little miss fall out boy shirt. Emily got the fall out boy hoodie, and the little miss fall out boy shirt. We ended up missing cute is what we aim for but we heard there songs and I caught the last song, they were pretty amazing.
We got into the pit and I pushed me and Emily up not real close but close enough, and we watched the pain white t`s, they were good, I new most of there songs, im not to fond of them though, so I was just like whatever. But for not being a big fan I new most of the songs and was singing along to them like no one was, the ONLY song everyone sung along to was hey there Delilah im like pleaseeee stfu. That song gets on my nerves now.
Then gym class heroes came on. There were holy shit amazing. They played like none of there old songs which I was pretty disappointed by, but they were still sooo good. Travie is amazing. And I got some really good pictures. I could hardly get pictures of matt. And I got non of disashi. Whatever. Travie said that we were one of the best venues yet, im not sure if he actually meant it or he was just saying that but ill take the compliment. There was this girl in front of me that was sooo fucking annoying and she kept jumping up and down and hitting me with her hair, and she was like 12 and there was like a foot in front of her. So I pushed her up and made sure she was up against the girl in front of her. God these people are obnoxious. Then clothes off came on and Patrick stump came out :D YEAHH he was amazing and I love him. Travie went to the side of the pit and everyone like turned to watch him and there’s me with my camera still taking pictures of Patrick stump… I felt like a loser. But I didn’t care.
Then fall out boy. Well before fall out boy came on. The pit was ridiculous I could hardly see me being 5ft and it was just sooo not worth it, if you weren’t all the way up front, the pit is no place for a short person. So my dad was sitting in the seats where like no one was. So me and Emily went up there with him for fall out boy. I figured I already met them and was up-close to them, I can’t be any closer, so I didn’t get amazing pictures, I got to meet them that’s better than 69689346 amazing pictures. And plus I could see everything from where I was fall out boy and the backstage, I saw them setting up, and tuning the guitars, and fall out boy coming up on stage. And I don’t know how many people saw it but it said fall out boy on the actual stage, and I know people from the pit couldn’t see that. Also I got to sit and just relax the whole time, it was so nice. So fall out boy came one and they were amazing, Patrick actually like moved around a lot he usually just stands there most of the time. And Pete had his cast, and Joe was just amazing, and Andy was awesome. The acoustic set was soo nice and everything was like really quiet while he played golden and like at one point it was totally silent pretty much and me and Emily at the same time said “we love you Patrick stump” and a millisecond afterward everyone started screaming, im sure we started that. Then the played nobody puts baby in the corner acoustic which was amazing. They did Mr. Brightside cover, and they didn’t play homesick at space camp like I thought they were going to, but they did play grand theft autumn and Saturday. They also played the after life of the party, which was so fucking amazing, god Patrick stumps voice is like no other. Also when they played dance dance I got up and did the dance. Yeahh me :D
Oh and just to state, in the pit I could see everything where I was sitting, there were 3 mosh pits going on, I saw seven people faint [remember I was watching fob pretty much the whole time], 2 people with an asthma attack, and soo much crowd surfing, they were even moshing to the acoustic set, it was so fucking crazy… I like the tweeter better/
Then we got out of the venue and me and Emily sung “homesick and space camp” and I took a picture of the tour buses, even though it came out crappy.
All I have to say is that it was the best night of my fucking life, and my life is now complete, I got too meet mother fucking fall out boy, its what I always wanted, and now I finally can say I did it.
