long time no write... i thought i should... well i was told i should... FORCED TO by the lovely Cara haha. She missed me writing a load of bollocks haha.
Well not too much has been going on really... been to a few gigs here n there and mainly at my mates flat.
Started back at uni 2 weeks ago to find out that i am only in on Thursdays and Fridays giving me 5 days off a week... that is awsome!
but i know i will probably be in the other weeks to do work cause i know i have a lot of that this year!
The classes seem to be pretty decent this year bar Professional Industry Practice.... basically how to write a CV from the looks of things. Boring as hell!
Commercial music Stratagies sounds a blast... learning to negotiate and also a role playing game where i am an A&R dude for a record company and i get £50,000 to sign a band and record a single and get it charted!
Its awsome...
Songwriting seems like it will be a lot of work... i need to write lyrics which im shit at... uh oh... hopefully ill get it eventually.
and International Music and New Media is awsome... John Takes the class and he is a total legend... i take all the notes down cause its been about Live music recently and also i respect him and his knowledge
a lot!
Apart from uni i basically live at my mates sam n wez's flat cause im usually doing stuff with them during the day and end up back at theirs.
They are the best mates ever... the banter we have some nights is amazing. Im glad there is a 24 hour bus that runs between our houses haha.
the other night sam bought season 4 of the x files and we sat watching that from about 6pm - 2am hahahahaha
it was amazing tho... then we watched the life aquatic! awsome movie.
Was at a gig last night in sleazys... got soaked on the way there!
For your sins were awsome... good to see them again even if there is total cheese parts haha.
The 2nd band were bollocks... just wanted to actually be biffy clyro ... im sure i heard a biffy cover too...
What the dead know were awsome but it was annoying that most of the crowd left aafter the 2nd band and it was mainly For your sins and all what the dead knows mates left... about 20 of us really... was quite harsh... could tell kneel wasnt up for it after rust.Gutted.
Mat from for your sins was hit in the head with camebulls guitar which was funny but harsh cause camebull didnt really seem to care... was in a mood like that most of the night
Went to the godly Canton Express after it cause i was dying. Sweet n Sour Pork with fried rice ... cant get better!
got a taxi home then came on here for a while
Today i have slept and showered... thats it.... will be doing some uni work tonight for songwriting and CMS and then bed at 1:30 latests probably.
I also bought Ghost dog and Resident Evil 2 this week... both amazing films... altho resident evil 2 is going back for an exchange for another copy as that one the sound is fooked.
