(no subject)
Wow, so quite a bit has happened in the past few days..lets start with last tuesday..Keane concert
Tuesday: 10:30 (because we were running late) alicia and I left to go to the Virgen Records in Downtown Disney for a meet and greet and mini concert with Keane..yay! we get there..you had to buy their cd for a wristband to get a better place to stand..so now we own 3 versions of the same cd..the mini-concert was amazing..we were really close and there was no stage..we were in the third row i believe..then we met them!! ahh! i gave them all hugs and they were so modest and down the earth and funny and ahh! during the performance they kept smiling and it was so cute. i'll scan the picture of the signed cd when i get back home.
then around 2 we went to eat at Fridays across the street from Universal..then at like 3 we went and met up with Alyssa, one of alicias friends, and we sat playing cards outside of Hard Rock Live for their concert which started at 8, we were first in line needless to say. But we only got second row because they let all of these other people in before us who had passes etc etc. But second row still kicked ass..we met some awesome people..Branden and Lolita, then Jessica and Yoshira and a few others..it was such an awesome time because these people were so funny and so interesting..then the concert started..Opening was Ragine Specktor (sp?) she was really good..her music was really funny..then keane..MTV taping..HA im so gonna be on MTV! the camera was in our faces like the whole time..it got rather annoying..but the concert was absolutely WONDERFUL! they are so much better live..AND they sung Snowed Under and i just about passed out..if anyone says they say a weird really white chick dancing around like an idiot on tv..that was me.
got back around midnight..woke up around 9 to finish packing etc.
got to the airport around 11 where they told us an earlier flight took off at 11:15..so we made that flight..we got into Milwalkee and had to sit for about 3 hours..but we played cards and ate really good ice-cream..then we got into a "puddle jumper" airplane..it held like 16 people..and we flew to Appleton where we met us with my grandparents and went to eat dinner...the flight was cool etc etc.
my cousins wedding was yesterday as was her reception..it was a nice wedding..she looks so old..i remember hanging out with her like 5 years ago and she looked so different..ugh..her reception was quite interesting..a lot of my family was drunk off of their asses..and ha! my cousin especially..oh my...he kept dragging me out..literally DRAGGING me out to do the chicken dance..and for the first time i tried rum and coke..which im quite fond of actually..anyway..i had a good time
then today we had a card party..because that is why we do in my family..everyone loves cards..its in the blood. that was fun..and tomorrow im probably going bowling with my cousins Jim and Matt..Jim=drunk one, Matt=Drunk guys brother who is getting married next summer..oh and if you're still reading this i congradulate you..
this weekend i might go and visit my great grandmother and my grandpas side of the family..god damn i have a huge weird family...my grandma has 11 brothers and sister..all but 2 have kids who have kids..and my grandpa has i think 5 brothers and sister and like 2 have kids i think..anyway
i've gotten quite a few more clothes and this really pretty green shirt which i shall take a picture of and scan because its BEAUTIFUL! tomorrow my grandpa is returning from his fishing trip that hes been looking forward too for a long time..so im excited hes coming back..and theres gonna be another card party on July 2nd..the day before we leave..yay! its also a suprise birthday party for my uncle..
i <3 being in Wisconsin..its so much better than Orlando and the weather here is AMAZING..its so pretty and cool and not 4564687 degrees..which is always a plus :)
oh and my moms birthday is on the 25th..which is Saturday..38..what a GEEZER! and jessicas birthday is on tuesday...
now that everyone knows every simple detail of the past week im off to watch some tv..
