In the distance i hear thunder crash....
Tonight was the busiest night i have ever had at work. I made soooo much extra money. I don't know what it is but people seem to eat alot more food when there is cold weather and tonight was freezing. I sold out of soup and i had to make 2 batches of it when i normally only make one. I sold out of my pumpkin pie and chili before it even started. I was pretty much non stop the whole night. If it wasn't during the breaks..i had to make constant deliveries throughout the night. One guy also bought 6 bun tacos , a ham sub, turkey sub, 2 pieces of cake and 2 bags of chips TO GO. Yes i get the occasional to go orders like that. It's nice cause it brings in alot more money which is always good. I also don't know how i remember all of the orders i have to deliver. It's crazy..but i never forget anyone. I would like to get one of those revolving thingies where you put the order on for the cook to make. That would be cute. I wonder what they are called so i could look online for one. Anyhow, work was busy and fun. I had a good night.
Also..there was this guy at Bingo tonight. He came in late and was in a rush. I feel so bad for him because he won bingo but not only did he win it but he won on the cash ball number sooo he was supposed to receive the $250 for the game along with $1,199!!...but he didn't get the jackpot. :( Since he was in a hurry and running late...he screwed up on something! When you pay to play bingo you pitch in a buck for the cash ball. Well, the rules make it so you have to sign a little paper and write the number on it and you keep the duplicate, turn in the original. That is how all jackpots work here. Well, he forgot to sign his paper so they couldn't award him the jackpot of $1,199!! Imagine how pissed he is. He is never coming back there again to play and it sucks. He is such a nice guy. He would give me $2 just for a can of soda. Way too nice and i feel really bad for him but what can ya do? You would hear alot of people bitching if he was to get it since the rules are clear that you must sign the paper. So, we lose one customer there now. Sucks!
Anyhow, I am loving the weather right now. It is pouring down rain so hard and it is so cool out. I just love it. The rain is really soothing and i am always in a great mood when it's like this. Yay for rain.
