Here is the record of the last 4 school-free days. As uneventful as they may seem use your imagination and they will be much more exciting. (but no promises)
The first two days were spent almost in entire freedom. Which was bliss in itself. With the mother of the home out of town and the father busy as his usual work routine Emily and her two rather obnoxious sisters were left to fend for themselves. Now you may think that these three together with no parental unit was a recipe for diasaster but surprisingly it worked! Emily's rather strange sisters decided that they liked cleaning house which there was no complaint. Emily actually didn't spend all that much time at home (except when she was providing her sisters with Ramen Noodles for the one-course lunch), she spent a good amount of her time with her friend Mandy and the other cheerleaders at the school and at the coach's house (which subsequently lives in Emily's cul-da-sac). That was a very long sentence. I hope it did not bore you.
There was a few downfalls to these days of freedom...for one Emily and her sisters consumed far more Ramen Noodles and Pop tarts them the per usual. Two..these days were spent slightly in physical pain for Emily because one never knows what out of shape is until they try to get back into shape.
Thursday evening could have been much worse than it was. Emily and her father attended a viewing (or calling hours) for wonderful man who unforunately passed away. He was the grandfather of a young man Emily almost dated..keyword being "almost". We will just nickname him cowboy. Luckily the family was very friendly and it was no mournful but rather celebrating the wonderful life that had been lived.
Friday Emily her father and sisters went and saw a movie. The one sister became particularly annoying, crabbing and downright embarassing and Emily purchased a dvd.
Saturday was a very forgetful day. Emily attended to play practices..missing parts of each to make it to both. She fell sick in the afternoon missing a babyshower for twins that she much wanted to attend. Then our rather annoyed Emily finished the day by going to work for her dad and recovering that her long await cd had arrived from amazon.
Sunday..there was church then lunch as usual. My father took us to look at some vehicles, Emily bartered with one of her sisters to clean her room and spent the evening reading Harry Potter (the movie is coming out this week, you know). the end i guess.
Shall i continue now on the introspective weekend Emily had?
No perhaps not..that would be too cruel. and you, dear reader are probably very weary of all these words on your shaky glowing screen so i will stop.
conclusion of the matter...call me.
