It was like dumping out an entire box of cereal into a big bowl in an effort to pull out the prize, only to discover the prize was some crappy sticker and not a cool mini car like you originally thought it might be.

I hate when that happens!

Oh man, the Frig/Hector interaction got me all excited, and then the news of Lou fading back into insanity got me terribly upset.

I don't know if it's my period or your writing or (most likely) both, but I'm feeling too many emotions right now. I think I'll take a note from Frig and show the earth beneath me some of this emotion!

I think beating Xlormp with one of his own limbs would have been very useful.
