Okay so the last month has been crazy.
I feel like the past week and a half has been like a month it seems. Everything has been going on. Since our trip to Jacksonville, so much has happened. I haven't spent a day at home, not on the phone, not on the computer, and just being here. I'm always busy, I'm always talking to someone, I'm always working on something.
This past weekend was the Blue Key Debate Tournament in Gainesville, Florida at the UF campus. If I had any intentions of going to UF before, they were completely shot by the end of the trip. I hated the campus. I liked the grass though. I can't wait to be in college though.
I competed in Oral Interpretation aka Prose and Poetry. I did Dear Ginsberg by Brian Martinez from Revolution on Canvas for my poetry and Dead Christmas by Chris Haynie from Honey Ditch for my prose. I did horrible but that's b/c Mr. Rushing sucks.
I have already started working on my stuff for Regionals in February in Tally. Poetry: Sic Tranist Gloria...Glory Fades, Jude Law and a Semester Abroad, and The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot; all by Brand New. Prose: Someone Like You; Sarah Dessen.
I started rehearsals for Arsenic and Old Lace on Monday at Tara's. They went well, minus a few distractions, i.e. not being able to stop laughing, Kat not being able to talk, Matt and Hunter being distracting. Hunter actually wasn't all that distracting b/c he knows I'm trying to take it seriously. But fuckin A, Matt the freaking spaz was all over Kat.
I also got the cast for my small group musical together. We're doing the song "Rent" from the play "Rent." Cast: Daniel-Mark; Danny-Roger; George-Collins; Morgan-Joanne; Kyle-Benny; Tara and Scarlet-Choreographers/extras. And that's about it. I can't wait to start my practices for that.
Other than that... nothing new.
Uhm... everyone should go and see the play next Thursday. It'll be REALLY good and you won't expect who the killer is. I know already b/c Kat told me. And I'm not even allowed to tell Hunter.
Anywho, everything is going well. I miss Tasha, I'm in love with Rent, Brand New, Mae, and the Garden State soundtrack. I miss Whitney, Isabelle, and Tina. And I am going to go now.
later.
