How Was Pittsburgh?
Okay. Not as amazing as I had imagined, but it wasn't bad.
I think I was excited for the clothes shopping and that ended up not happening. Haha. I have plenty of nice clothes though for my senior pictures though... and pretty much all of them are purple. Haha.
No, but the trip was okay. My mom was doing very, very well. She and I got all nostalgic about '90s stuff at one point and that was fun. Haha.
Uhm, the "hotel" was my favorite part I think. It tecnhically isn't a hotel, it's like... well I guess it is but it's only for family of hospital patients. And they don't have maids or anything, you clean up after yourself. But the place was very lovely! They had two floors of just like... family rooms. The bottom floor had this huge dining room connected to another room with comfy couches and a TV. I didn't go in that one sans the dining room to eat. The 2nd floor had this other room that had all sorts of board games and puzzles but it had a piano as well! I think that's why I got excited. The piano. Haha. Our room had this huge window in the main room and I loved looking out of it at the city. I asked to have the pull out bed from the couch because that was the room with the TV and I wanted to watch The Jacksons movie... again... for like the 10th time in the past month and I'm not even kidding. And miraculously, everyone agreed and my brother even slept on the floor which he does anyways for some odd reason.
My brother fell in the shower while we were there too, and by the way this shower had a window in it. Haha. But oh my, it was the funniest thing ever. I mean, I refrained from laughing until I knew he wasn't hurt. But when he fell he had this this girly 'Oh!' before he fell. I didn't actually laugh because he fell, mainly I laughed because of the 'Oh!' And I laughed for like 30 minutes, I'm not even kidding. Haha.
I was so not looking forward to going to work today. But the principal wasn't there and he left nothing for me to do so... yeah. The main secretary left me something to do but that only lasted for like two hours. So I basically read Harry Potter from 11AM to 3PM. And it was awesome. LOL. Unfortunately, the principal comes back tomorrow and he can always, always find things for me to do and they're always stupid. But I've decided I'm taking Thursday off since that's when my day for senior pictures is. Then this week will be my last week. Technically, I can work up until Friday of next week but if I did that then I'll no break between work and band camp. I've gone straight from school everyday to work everyday and then it would be band everyday and I'd have like two weeks of vacation after all of that before school starts again. And that's lame. So I'm giving myself a break.
