I have grown to realize in the past 4 years that Myspace and Facebook are both retarded. They have changed the way people live their lives. It is all people talk about and do. I remember growing up, I would only talk to my friends in person or on the phone briefly. Then even with the rising popularity in the late 90's of the internet, I still talked to my friends in person or on the phone more than "digitally."
Nowadays it seems like people are too concerned with what pictures they are tagged in or who comments on who's wall. Also what happened to privacy? Now people constantly update where they are with GPS on facebook. Tell me that is not creepy! I remember when facebooks first released the news feed and you could see everybody's updates. People were causing a fuss and calling facebook a stalker tool. Ha! It is funny to see that it has only gotten worse.
Call me old fashioned but I enjoy talking to people voice to voice. None of this texting or wall posting. People have lost their touch with reality and personality. How can you have a personality if you spend 2/3 of your day on the internet. It is a disease. Computers, phones, televisions, and now even cars are linked to social networking sites.
It is almost like this reality is becoming a "virtual" reality.
