riddance

this week has been rather, um, surreal. i think that's the best word to describe it. i've come full circle in a lot of ways between friday night and here, now. from the all too familiar depressed, destructive, self medicating, anxious moods i like to think i finally kicked after last year, to a more grounded appreciation of the fact that there is no way i can control most anything and that's okay (in fact, it's preferable).

had a great project meeting with joel; think i'm finally starting to know what i'm talking about and will be writing lots this week. went to class and had valid contributions to class discussion even though i forgot the reading. hung out with a ray for ten minutes while waiting for steph outside of olin. went to target and got shirts for squeegeeing tomorrow morning (nicaragua in january!). lost my panera virginity with a frontega panini and a tall glass of lemonade. got party host recertification. wore contacts all day.

and i'm back in the game.
(name that movie.)

now for a shower and some good old r&r.
(i think i like life better when i'm not in a provigil induced haze. but only if i'm awake to appreciate it. which means there will inevitably be provigil days. maybe fewer though....)

speaking of, i'm exhausted.
