I love my family, sometimes.
A few weeks ago, my brother took a trip to the local Liquor store to get a case of beer. When he was there he saw a sign that said "liquor store parking 15 minutes or less" or something like that. He noticed that it was not screwed into the pavement. He decieded to put it in the bed of his truck and take it home. He put it in our garage.
About a week ago, my dad was reading the Downers Grove reporter or whatever our newspaper is called. He likes to read the section where stolen things are reported. As he read furthur down, he noticed that there was a missing 15 minute parking for liquor store sign. Not only one, but TWO. He discussed this with my brother. He talked about this with my brother and he said that he only took one of the signs, meaning some other bonehead took another one. Nevertheless, it's in the newspaper; the liquor store reported it missing. And that's funny.
When my brother brought it home, he just put it on the edge of the garage (closest to the street) facing out. After my dad read the newspaper, he turned it around so you cant see what it says from the street.
The sign is going in our basement, as well as a blow up version of the newspaper article.
