(no subject)
i got my 'digital converter box' working finally. all by myself, seeing as how the two boys I live with couldn't figure it out, but me home alone on the phone with my mom could. :D
translation:divorce court, news programs, occasional gem like Scrubs or Family Guy re-runs.
it's really simple and makes me extremely happy, heh.
I don't want to jinx it but i think i might have found some pretty strong possibilities to live with next year. once i find a new place every day here is going to seem like a cake walk. i just want to know that i am getting out of this environment in the future. sam, chief and fred came by to look at the place today not knowing who's apartment the realtor was showing them. it was a nice surprise.
the other night Deaf Dave came over with one of his friends and we all smoked and then they showed us how to do this thing called Hot Knives, like the Bright Eyes song. (basically heating butter knives up on the stove until they're red-hot, putting the powder remains of weed on one of them, pressing onto it with the other and then sucking up the smoke through the cut-off mouth of a plastic bottle).
got me to this point, plus or minus some red wine:
i feel like summer's coming even though it's snowing today.
