I've done that before. I was drunk, high and I decided to wear my huge headphones and listen to music as loudly as possible and close my eyes while I walked like a zombie. While I was passing through downtown a black Cadillac followed me for a good fifteen minutes and the driver continued to demand I get in. i would run and run and hide in doorways to shops but he always found me somehow but luckily there was a guy at a bus stop who turned out to be a security guard at pike place market who pretended to be my macho boyfriend who threatened to kick his ass if he didn't drive away and then he walked me to the base of Queen Anne Hill like a gentleman.
true story. I hope you never do that again, because I know I never will.

that was such a bad night for me and i apologize for you having to witness that. Alan told me you didn't think i remembered you the other night but i did, and i wanted to say something along the lines of 'pretend this is your first night over here, and your first night meeting me. also, i'm sorry.'
sometimes when i have bad days i think drinking heavily will make me happy but it always just ends up badly.
i was black-out drunk and don't remember much of anything. A half a bottle of vodka will do that to ya though....

It's ok, we were just trying to get you to bed safely. We fed your cats too, after Alan left you that note, I told him that you probably wouldn't remember me and you would read the note and be like, "Who's Mallory?" Which you probably did haha.
It's ok dear! I'm glad you recognized me though. We did share cigarettes, alcohol and interest in Rilo Kiley/Jenny Lewis that night. You are for sure ok in my book : )
