He pulled at his collar and noticed a mirror at the other side of the room. Leeteuk felt his jaw fall open as he saw his reflection. Except for his hair and the collar, he almost looked like a royal himself. Something felt fishy and the blonde narrowed his eyes. He snapped his head to the tall male and gasped as he noticed the Prince was now standing beside him. How did he not notice when he was looking in the mirror?
The tall male raised his hand and Leeteuk closed his eyes tightly, expecting a painful punch or slap. Fingers lightly combed through the blonde's hair and the royal made an approving sound. Leeteuk opened one eye, carefully staring up at the male who was confusing him enormously. Then the hand reached out for his neck and Leeteuk squealed, taking a step back. The Prince seemed surprised and lifted both eyebrows, reaching out once more for the collar and removing it from Leeteuk's neck.
The leather slipped off his neck and Leeteuk reached up to rub his neck. So many questions were roaming through his head, but he didn't know which to ask first and he certainly didn't know what to say when the tall male grasped his hand and dragged him out of his room. The blonde stumbled after him, cursing his short legs as he tried to keep up with the large steps of the other.
He looked back over his shoulder, staring at the two guards who now stayed put at the door as the royal dragged him to a different part of the mansion.
"W-Where.." Leeteuk finally decided to ask, but fell silent as the hand gripping his squeezed him tightly, hurting him so much that tears sprang to his eyes. He whimpered and placed his other hand on the Prince's as if it would sooth the pain.
A new pair of guards stood on either side of the double-door they were nearing. They opened the doors immediately as they saw the Prince and made it possible for them to walk into the room without stopping. When they did finally stop, Leeteuk felt the death grip on his hand lessening. He sighed and wanted to retreat his hand, but was afraid the Prince would clutch his hand again.
"Father, mother" the royal suddenly said, bowing deeply and tugging at Leeteuk's hand to do the same. The blonde cringed at the pain in his hand and bowed silently.
"My son.. I see you have made your decision. Is this truly what you want?" the King spoke, his voice even lower than the Prince's. The man looked anything but pleased while the woman beside him seemed very cheerful. She clapped her hands as her son nodded his head in reply to his father.
"Hohohoo~ Well, look at that!" she said loudly and stood from her throne. She hurried over, clasping the Prince's cheeks in her hands and laughing. The Prince sighed dramatically, waiting for his mother to calm down. "Mother, please.." he rolled his eyes as the woman in front of him giggled.
"Oh, do forgive me, Siwon, sweetheart, but I can't help it! You've finally chosen someone to marry!" she turned to Leeteuk and winked at him.
The blonde froze for quite a few reasons. First of all the woman supposedly being the Queen was anything but what he had imagined her to be. It seemed the Prince, who's name Leeteuk finally knew was Siwon, took after his father the most. The second reason why he felt a cold shiver run down his spine was the fact that the Queen had cheerfully exclaimed how happy she was for her son to get married. Leeteuk knew that besides the royal family and the guards there was no one other than him in the room, meaning if someone was going to marry Siwon, it would be.. him?
"This is outrageous! Siwon, you can't be serious! A male out of all the Princesses who throw themselves at your feet?" His father now also stood from the throne. Leeteuk sighed in relief at the King's words. If the king wouldn't approve than Leeteuk didn't have to worry about something ridiculous as marrying Siwon.
"Is he even a Prince? Where is he from? Who is his father?" The King threw his hands in the air, starting a fit as the Queen huffed. "Oh, what does it matter!" she replied, waving the anger of her husband away with a delicate hand. Leeteuk simply stared at the lack of fancy words and polite behaviour he had expected all royalty to have.
Leeteuk raised his hand and covered his mouth, snorting softly. Siwon turned his head at the small sound and found it adorable somehow, a small smile spreading on his face. The Queen had also heard Leeteuk's response and giggled at him. She was already fond of the blond and gave her son an approving nod, at least he had a good taste in men if not in women.
The King sat back down on his throne, crossing his legs and tapping the armrest loudly. "Well then, speak boy!" he said and mentioned for Leeteuk to come closer. The blonde's smile dropped instantly and his eyes widened. He was not going to play along if it meant he had to face the King and the man's obvious dislike of same-sex marriage.
Leeteuk stared down at his shiny shoes, silently wondering if he wanted to get married with Siwon in the first place. Why would he marry the male who had just bought him and fucked him? The Prince had been mysterious since the first moment Leeteuk saw him, but now the blonde really didn't know what to think of the royal. So many surprising things had happened and it made his head ache.
However, maybe it would improve his living conditions, meaning he would get three meals a day and didn't have to clean or sleep on the floor at night. That sounded quite tempting if not for the fact that Leeteuk would have to share the meals and the bed with Siwon. A blush appeared on his cheek as he realized he would have more exciting encounters with the Prince, because even though he tried to deny the fact he had liked Siwon's hands on his body, there was simply no point in lying to himself.
Half of him was cheering him on, telling him he should take this chance to better his life. The other half knew he wouldn't get to marry the Prince anyway thanks to his poor status and lack of royal blood. But he could try, right? If the King wouldn't approve, he would probably be demoted to the rank of slave and that was something Leeteuk was anyway. It didn't frighten him and so he bowed deeply and spoke.
"Your Highness, it is a great honour for me to introduce myself as Park Jungsu" he said, his voice being the only sound echoing through the spacious room. The King raised an eyebrow at the blonde and glanced at his Queen. She tapped her foot on the ground with her hands on her hips, giving him a stern look. The older man grumbled something and looked away as he waved his hand at Leeteuk. "Right, right. Park Jungsu. Tell me boy, where are you from?" he asked, trying to sound a bit more friendly this time.
Siwon simply waited and was obviously used to his mother being able to influence the King so easily. He stared at Leeteuk as the blonde raised his head. Leeteuk looked hesitant and a bit uncomfortable, but who wouldn't be in front of a great King like Siwon's father? The man was filthy rich and had sentenced enough people to death by simply clapping his hands and telling the guards to drag the people away. The Prince knew that would not happen this time though, he had his mother's approval after all.
Siwon smiled a little, folding his hands in front of him and being ever so thankful to his mother. The woman walked over to Leeteuk and touched his arm, surprising him as she leaned in and whispered something in his ear. Leeteuk held his breath, nodded and cleared his throat. He wasn't sure about the Queen's words, but he had nothing to lose.
"I'm from heaven and have come down to earth to protect your son" Leeteuk said, pushing his chest forward and hoping he looked imposing. He tried to smile and show the King the dimple that would always appear as he did.
The King had a surprised expression on his face and straightened his back at Leeteuk's words. "From heaven?" he repeated, looking at Leeteuk in astonishment. The Queen stroked Leeteuk's hair and smiled lovingly at her husband. "Of course he is, honey! Can't you see his golden hair and radiant smile?" She took Leeteuk's chin in her hand and forced the blonde's smile to widen.
Siwon raised his hand, hiding his smile as he watched the scene with twinkling eyes. It was obvious his mother had ordered Leeteuk to say such a ridiculous thing, but the Queen was clever and knew her husband would fall for someone who portrayed himself as an angel. And sure enough, the King stood from his throne and neared the blonde boy with curious eyes. He looked Leeteuk up and down, leaning in to stare into the male's wide eyes.
Leeteuk held his breath as the King inspected him. Being a slave meant he had been inspected like this before, but his heart beat even faster this time because he would be judged as an potential angel instead of a slave. "Your eyes hold a lot of sadness, but hope shines through brightly" the King said, leaning back and clasping Leeteuk's arms as the Queen released him.
"It's an honour to have a holy creature like you in my palace." Leeteuk felt his knees wobble at the King's words and he was grateful the man was suddenly clutching him to his chest or else he might have sunk to the ground in his dazed state. He let out a whiny sound against the King's chest and it was then that Leeteuk wondered in what kind of ridiculous kingdom he had end up.
Never before had he seen a Queen hushing a King so easily and never had he dared to believe a King could be so stupid to believe that someone like Leeteuk was an angel. The kingdom had seemed pretty normal at first, but he knew things weren't right when the Prince dressed him up and displayed him to his parents not as a possession but as an equal.
And from that moment on, Leeteuk was overwhelmed by servants, maids and personal body guards who followed him everywhere as if he had taken Siwon's place and had become the new Prince. The actual Prince was constantly there to watch him though.
All Siwon did was just watch, he hadn't touched Leeteuk ever since the King accepted him as Siwon's partner in marriage. It confused the blonde, had Siwon become shy all of a sudden? The tall male had felt distant before and even though the Prince would occasionally smile at him, now it was the real distance between their bodies that had increased.
The Queen had told her soon to be son-in-law, that her son was probably feeling nervous about the marriage. She tried to comfort Leeteuk's mind, but it was not just Siwon's behaviour that made the blonde fumble with the zipper as he stood in front of a long, golden mirror in his marriage attire. He sighed and nearly pouted as a maid came over and shyly zipped him up from behind after he obviously gave up on doing it himself.
This whole marriage thing was making him feel nauseous. The King had arranged for Leeteuk and Siwon to marry as soon as possible once he believed Leeteuk was an angel. And so the blonde had only a few minutes left before he would walk down the aisle, wearing the dress that the Queen had given him and apparently had worn herself when getting married to her King.
"I'm not a woman.." Leeteuk muttered sadly and lifted the dress to look at the high heels he was wearing. His feet were already killing him and he hadn't even walked that much yet. The maids had practiced with Leeteuk how to walk on high heels, but the blonde still didn't feel safe as he wobbled over to the bed. He leaned down and clutched the sheets in his hands, hanging his head with a loud sigh. It made the two maids in the room giggle, but Leeteuk could only blush in embarrassment.
There was a knock on the door and the two girls scurried over to greet whoever would open it. The brightly smiling King appeared as one of the guards on the outside opened the door. Leeteuk quickly straightened his position, tugging at the dress to seem busy.
"Ah~, Jungsu-sshi, you look absolutely stunning!" The King clapped his hands and walked over. Leeteuk's blush deepened and he gave the king a small smile. "Thank you, your Highness" he replied and yelped as the King grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the door without another word.
Leeteuk clutched the dress in his hand, holding it up so he wouldn't step on it as he wobbled after the royal. "P-Please! Not s-s-so fast!" Leeteuk stammered, almost spraining his ankle as tried to walk on the high heels. The King came to an halt, patting the blonde's hand with a kind smile. He brought them to a large door and cleared his throat loudly. The wood groaned as two guards opened the doors, revealing a room that looked identical to a church.
Leeteuk stared in awe at the sight and for a moment he felt as if he was dreaming. "No.." he muttered, the pain in his feet was proof enough that this was reality. Leeteuk tried to smile as music began to play and all the royal guests stood to watch the King guide the wobbling bride to the front of the aisle.
There Siwon waited for him, dressed in complete white and clutching his own hands tightly. He seemed nervous and a small blush covered his cheeks as his father held out their hands for Siwon to take Leeteuk's. They held hands as the man in front of them talked. Leeteuk couldn't hear him, the beating of his heart tuned out all the other sounds.
Leeteuk simply went along with everything, staring down at the ring that Siwon slid down his finger. He couldn't hear the Prince's voice, but saw that his lips were moving slowly. Everything seemed so surreal as he returned the favour and muttered something he hoped would sound loving enough.
"I do." It slipped from his lips before Leeteuk even registered the preacher had asked him a question. The entire room went silent as the old man in front of them closed the bible he was holding. A smile radiated on his face as he spread his arms in the air.
"I hereby pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride!" The preacher turned to Siwon and nodded his head. Leeteuk froze and held his breath as he turned to face the Prince. Siwon gave him a small smile and leaned in to kiss him while closing his eyes. Leeteuk could only stare as the lips neared him, but what made him truly yelp was a sudden rumbling from above. His head shot up at the ceiling that had disappeared. Dark clouds covered the air and Siwon stepped back, watching as a heavy rain fell down on his bride.
