Howdy Strangers!
Wow, so it has been well.. forever since I have posted last.
I don't really have much to report, but I am still kicking in NYC. I have moved to a delightful little studio in Queens and I am loving the quiet life that it affords. I am working in the boogedy-down of the South Bronx helping people to not die.
I have had the craziest experiences in the Bronx. I mean, number one, I am the only white girl in my entire facility... staff included. Number two, mentally ill, substance abusing parolees... leads to an interesting day, not to mention that the facility is located in the lowest socio-economic district in the entire united states.
I am hoping to update more often because I am sure that you are all DYING to know what has been going on in my little ole life, but also because I think I am gonna need some kind of outlet with a job that is full of this much stress. But it also makes for amusing stories.
OH, BTW, I am having a party on April 3rd. Waffle Night '09. Come. Mingle. Enjoy waffles shaped like Hello Kitty. You know you want to.
