Unfortunate things abound on the interwebz today...
Aww, this stinks so bad! I'm not allowed to use a pen name on Elfwood. ;____;
The first time I tried joining years ago, they weren't accepting new members or something. So now that I decide to join, I find out they don't allow pen names ahh! It's ok, I just really don't want my real name associated with my art yet!
Right now I still have Sheezyart, but I was looking for a new place to join. Mostly, I was very unimpressed with the way staff members were behaving in the forum the last time I visited. It was almost like a Yahoo chat room...
I also discovered some bad news regarding TokyoPop. Newsarama tells it better than I could. Basically, a ton of people just lost their jobs. I guess avoiding TokyoPop wasn't such a bad idea after all?
My dream job is getting published by Viz...I think I respect them the most out of all the popular manga publishers (*___*)
In other news, I was feeling like butt yesterday, so someone surprised me when I came home...
A night of shopping, sushi, cookies, and surprise roses...good enough for me!!
