I finally made a piece of art that I was halfway satisfied with and my scanner fucked it up.

So far I've only played Origins and DA2. I felt that a lot of Origins was much better technically speaking. There were a lot more opportunities to interact with your environment, and the plot seemed a lot more solid. DA2 felt really lazy in these aspects and more--like wtf, reusing the same maps for different areas? Ok. And you got pretty much the same ending no matter what choices you made throughout the game.
Strangely, I like DA2 better. Although Origins was well-done, the storyline was a really typical high fantasy and I felt like I might as well be playing D&D. I felt the plot for DA2, although messy, was a lot more original for a game of its genre. Mostly, though, the characters were amazing. I felt really attached to all of them, especially Fenris (duh). They were what pulled it all together for me. In the past, I've read books that have engaged me so thoroughly that I felt as though I was actually there with friends, and felt like I was saying goodbye when the books ended. This is the first time a game has had the same effect on me. BEING the main character made it that much more engaging. The saddest part is that I will never be able to experience the same exact story more than once. I wish I could go back and watch all of my old cutscenes with Hawke and Fenris ;_;
