Thoughts on Gothloli...thought I should post this here

So many thoughts about what I want to do with RoKulie and myself in general flooding my brain....

I've always wondered if I could be a pro-blogger with my Gothloli blog. Back when I started it, there was only one other person blogging exclusively on the same topic, so prospects looked good, but nowadays...not so much. Practically every Lolita has a blog now. (But how many Aristocrat blogs are there....)

I used to want to write some kind of "How to be a Lolita" book, but I don't think I could do that anymore. I should have done it when I was more involved in the community. On the other hand, I'm a lot wiser now than I used to be, so I probably would have hated my own book today, hahaha.

I've never wanted to post photos of myself because I think that's weird to dress up for the sake of taking pictures and posting them online. However, I see how it would be helpful in being re-accepted by the community at large. Most of you probably already realize that it's virtually impossible to make an impact on the Lolita world unless you are one of them. At least I'm still involved enough to know that much!

I just remembered something though! I used to want to start a style diary. Maybe I can do that at my new diary...

I wonder how Lolitas would feel if I wanted to make money from my blog writings? Even though it would be such a dream to speak about something I love and get paid for it, like many pro-bloggers do, I have this feeling that they would react quite harshly. Money appears to be a sensitive topic to some Lolitas because Lolita itself is such an investment.

Other people's opinions shouldn't matter...unless they are the ones who decide your fate.

Livejournal = feelings and personal stuff, and the occasional ranting. Also anything that I feel needs to be shared.

Rokuism = Art, career, day to day stuff, goals, advice for others, tutorials...basically something that would be helpful to others, rather than just a personal dumping space like LJ.

All of my other blogs already focus on specific topics. For the sake of clarity...

Verte Aile = witchcraft, paganism, spirituality

Gothloli Grimoire = Gothic & Lolita, my experiences and thoughts on the fashion, lifestyle things that would interest lolitas and goths, information. Could possibly continue some semblance of Antique Child on here.

I'm still not clear on whether I'd like to be completely objective with this blog, and move my personal musings to Rokuism. Oh wait, but Rokuism isn't going to be personal. Well I guess that answers that question.

There's really nothing else. I have 3 active blogs and 1 online journal.

POSSIBLE FUTURE BLOG--my ideal blog would include most or all of the following topics:
(Homemaker)
cleaning tips
household budget / living frugally
homeschooling tips
gardening
home decorating
cooking / recipes
diy fashion or home fashion advice

(Ladylike and Natural)
entertaining guests / dinner parties
manners and etiquette
home business tips
diy beauty remedies
home medicine
woman topics in general
goals and productivity from women's perspective
self-esteem and self-power for women

All this with a Neo-Victorian / Goth / Lolita bent. I'm pretty sure no such blog like this exists yet or I would have found it already.

I've thought about merging some of these with Rokuism. I don't know about that, still gotta think about it. I do know for sure that I'm in no place to begin this venture as-is, because I have little experience in any of it. Let me focus on beefing up my current blogs first.

goals, gothloli, blogs, rokulie
