not a good time for name troubles

One of my nano characters, a faerie, insisted that his name was Farfalle. I had a bad feeling about this from the start, but no, he refused to let me change it. So, fine, I let him introduce himself to Rue as Farfalle.

I got antsy about it and decided to google it, expecting the results to come back with that anti-semitic Mickey Mouse lookalike, or with nothing at all (which would have cleared my conscience.

Instead I got...PASTA!

I NOW HAVE A HANDSOME FAE WHOIS NAMED AFTER BOWTIE PASTA. Great.

But it turns out it translates as "butterflies" in Italian...which is perfect.

So now I don't know of I should change it to Farfalla or leave it the way he wants ;o;

I don't know how to edit typos on my phone ;o;!

characters, nanowrimo
