Cold Dead Hands Presents...
Ix
Local doom metal behemoths, kicking off their national tour with Naked Shit. Slow, heavy, punishing music played on ridiculously downtuned instruments with occasional forays into melody. Think "Enemy Of The Sun" era Neurosis, Noothgrush or Grief, mixed with bleak post-rock elements. First Edinburgh gig since January, and quite possibily their last for some time as Hamish is moving down south.

Naked Shit
London blackened doom/drone metal two piece, featuring Tim Holehouse, who's been up here so frequently this year he's got his own couch at the CDH HQ. They describe themselves as the worlds slowest black metal band, and if you witnessed their ear splitting appearance with Red Star Parades last year, you'll know that's not too wide of the mark.

Eye
Dundee post-rockers making their third CDH appearance this year. Instrumental songs that can veer from near silence to crushing heaviness at the drop of a hat, much like Godspeed meets Karma To Burn.
