Me for one, I'm glad The Promise is calling it quits. I found them to be lackluster and boring, pretty fucking generic, and utterly attrocious live. How many times can the singer tell me the same shit ass story between sets, or whine about not putting their money in a bank, only to have it all stolen, and then beg kids to support them through paypal.. Guess what, if you can't afford to be full time, then go part time, play locally.. don't just give up on something you believe in, and "have heart and passion" for. it's all a bunch of bullshit...
honestly.. the previous bands were all 10x better than the sum of the promise...
