thanks to you now i get what i want
so this weekend quite honestly has been hell. friday with brizzy was amazing. the brooke annibale concert at borders was just so mellow and it was awesome for me to have time to unwind. i got the lovely bones and we looked for planners, but only found one really hideous one. speaking about planners now i feel like i really need one because i found out today that the green day concert is over YOUTHFEST WEEKEND. which means im going to be like an hour and a half away from home on this weekend retreat that im helping to plan... sooo yea i dont even know what im going to do. im hoping to be able to drive up there and then get a ride back up to camp at like.. who knows when in the night... like 2 haha. either that or ill have to find someone else to pay me for the ticket that can go with jess. i feel really bad... but gahh yes britt another reason why i need a planner. so back to my weekend. saturday morning i went to huntington for 3 hours and did really basic math stuff which was stupid. i also found out that my mom had already bought the lovely bones to read, so our household now has 2 wonderful copies of it. i went straight from huntington to the science center and i worked from 1-5. it was decent, i didn't really have to deal with any stupid people, but im pretty sure that our team was being evaluated. heres the dillio. this guy walks up to me and nicole (we were standing at the lifevest demo cart) and he asks these really random questions. like how long the exhibit had been there and when we got it. and then he like asked about the lifevests and nicole started to explain them, but he was definately more interested in "what else was in the demo cart." so she told him... but it was weird. i've never had a guest that knew that we called it a "demo cart" and then when we finished talking to him he said "thanks for the demo." which totally clued us in to the fact that he was, as nicole put it a "secret shopper." but we answered all of his questions and were very helpful so :) yay. i came home saturday night and my parents proceeded to tell me that they were going out to eat so i was on my own. wonderful. not like ive been able to chew recently or anything because of my braces. so i made campbells chicken noodle soup, started gluing together the kangaroo puppet and read like 100 pages of the lovely bones. today was decent i guess. i got up and went over to the high school to work on painting the drops. that went well... we're really making progress. then i went from the high school to robin's and we drove out to monroeville for the youthfest meeting. that was good, i have been assigned the task of figuring out how to coordinate this like... live game of clue for 400+ people which will be just a treat im sure. i got home after the meeting and started on my cake which is now cooling so i can frost it. then i worked on the kangaroo puppet for 3 hours making almost no noticable progress except for gluing in the mouth. *rolls eyes* i guess thats about it for my weekend. anddd of course because nothing in my life can be you know... low stress or anything... crew starts on tuesday. im hoping we dont have school tomorrow. that would make me very very happy! but its doubtful they're not smart enough to be like "hey its supposed to snow like 8 inches maybe we shouldn't make them come to school." thats it for now. <3brian
