i got a job babysitting for a cool family. blythe is 6 and she likes arts and crafts. kieran is 4 and cameron is 2, and they are autistic. they're probably the sweetest children ever. the boys can't really talk well, but they're extremely affectionate. and blythe is obsessed with me; last week we played with sculpey. so i have some new buddies! and a job.
i've been listening to marnie stern lately, and i wanted to recommend her! i'll say that none of my roommates like her, but a few other people i know do. so imagine crazy 80s guitar shredding, in multiple layers, mixed with this really badass woman's voice singing about the universe and classical mythology. if you can't imagine that, you should go to her myspace. http://www.myspace.com/marniestern1 or buy her album, in advance of the broken arm. it's definitely worth it.
new feist is good, but kinda hit or miss, i feel. sea lion woman is my new obsession, other than marnie stern.
