(no subject)
wow, so i almost made it to august first without saying anything on here... thats new... i guess i should make a list of important things i did in june/ the early half of july
* flew a kite by the river
* had some surprise days off due to hand foot and mouth disease and went to jeju island - my first alone beach trip which i loved.
* had the most people in my apartment ever (10)
* lots of dancing in hongdae, club mass, and monkey beach, june had a lot of dancing...
* had a crush and acted on it
* best burger in seoul :jacobys in hebangchon
* discovered my favorite new brunch place right across the street! migo!
* made and sold some wallets out of duct tape
* lots of "days" at work... crazy hair, caribbean, and transportation days!
* saw a break dancing show on the fourth of july at coex
* went to beoreyong for mudfest and saw everyone and their mother
* saw harry potter, pretty much with strangers, but it was awesome
* I M NOW AN AUNT TO A BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY NAMED DANIEL! he was born the 17th in the evening for me but the morning nyc time... i cant wait to meet him and its killing me not being able to see him now. :(
lately ive been having to say goodbye to a lot of important people. namely billy and all of his fullbrite friends :( i am sad my new friends are leaving but more sad about my friend who i thought was going to be staying for another year... though i gotta be happy for him... penn state is nothing to sneeze at for law school! alas, its going to be a different era soon enough. ive already started branching out. i saw mary for dinner monday and i met a girl form PSA, catherine, for dinner last night.... and she lives soooo close! which is really exciting. this weekend is the start of our 10 day vacation and im meeting my parents in tokyo on sunday!! we get back next friday and theyll be in korea for about a week. also, bren will be here soon with his brother and destiny has made plans to come at the end of august! also, i might be meeting up with abby in beijing?? perhaps. we'll see.... also at the end of my contract i might be heading to new zealand?? miranda and tweety should be there and perhaps i can convince anne to come meet me too... we'll see... i want to save my hard earned money but at the same time i want to spend it like a crazy person... you know? ive never had this much money before in my life and its a nice feeling.
anyway, lucky i woke up early today i guess... i need to get ready for my day... wednesday is clay english and its always exhausting...
