This particular dream nearly slipped past my mind. I have a bit of trouble differentiating between dreams and reality. I was sitting in class mulling over some memories, when it hit me that this couldn't possibly be reality.
The scene started in this almost empty pool complex. There were several olympic-sized swimming pools which were all in this rather large building made of corrugated metal. I don't know how many, but they were arranged in a zipper pattern: _-_. I don't know how I ended up outside of the building, but on the outside was a very sloppy, muddy road that led to my Grandparent's front steps.
I don't really know how I was able to get out of the building. I only remember I had trouble on the muddy road as it was rather steep. I'm sure my trek was not helped by the fact that I had on several pairs of shoes on each foot. On my right foot, I had a sneaker under a sneaker under a blundstone. My left foot was the same, but I had left my blundstone at the pool complex.
As I approached my grandparent's house, I saw an almost brand new pair of blunstones. Steeltoed, if I recall correctly. I also saw another pair of shoes on the walkway. I believe they were sneakers. I remember there being a rain of some description, and the shoes outside being ruined.
When I walk into the house, my Granddad and Beth were sitting in chairs on opposite ends of the room. They were having a discussion of sorts, but as I walked in the topic turned to my socks. Beth asked why I wore socks under my blundstones, saying that they did well without them. Granddad answered that I did wear the blundstones with out socks, but that today was an exception (there was some reason he used, but I can't remember quite what).
I don't recall how I left the house, but the next thing I remember was returning to the pool complex, and finding it extrodinarily busy.
