(no subject)
I'm sick, physically. sore throat, runny nose, coughing, sneezing, blargywargy feeling, the works. yay. so here are three good things that happened this weekend.
1. GeekBoy attended the first of two classes to get his ham radio license. the next class is next Saturday and I think he's well on his way to passing that test. he's excited. so cute.
2. the Duchess and I had lunch yesterday. Afterwards she asked to go to my favorite store of all time (Alanna's at northgate) to see if she could find a ring to replace one Moke lost. she found one but put it on hold so she could sleep on it. I was browsing to find a replacement wedding ring (looooong story) and ended up finding one. You know how some things just feel *right* immediately? that's this ring.
3. this afternoon I was miserably crashed on the couch and ended up with all three cats on me. Thor was tucked up against my hip, Freya was on my lap with Costello snuggling her as the big spoon. (They don't usually get along, Frey-frey and 'stello) All three cuddled me for about three hours. it was really special.
