Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce to you.... onigiri!
This is my all time favourite food in Japan. Onigiri played no small part in my decision to recontract!
It comes with helpful instructions on how to actually get at the food inside its layers of packaging. For the uninitiated, it's not as easy as it looks.
Step one..
It's basically a rice ball (in the shape of a triangle, obviously), wrapped in seaweed. It tastes so good..

They come with all sorts of crazy fillings. And I mean crazy. There's one with green stuff in it, which should be avoided at all costs. You can get plum ones, tuna ones, prawn ones, but they're just the fillings I recognise. I've had a few onigiri disasters in my time. Extreme care must be taken when making your selection.
This one is 'sake', which means salmon. Check it out, I'm fluent! This is the best onigiri flavour in the universe. Ever. (And only two and a half weight watcher points!)
