"Oh, but you look so cute! Doesn't he, Riku?"
Riku smirked, and keeping his voice as normal as possible, answered, "Oh, yes. Very cute. Just like a little princess."
"Riku," Sora hissed angrily as he tugged at the pink dress that Selphie made him put on. Turning abruptly to Selphie, he whined, "Why do I have to be a princess? Why can't he," Sora jabbed a finger in Riku's direction, "be the princess and wear this dress!"
"Because Riku's playing the part of a prince!"
"Why can't I be a prince, too?"
Selphie sighed, "Because then we'll be short a princess, of course!"
"Why are we even pretending to be princes and princesses, anyways?" Sora asked, while his brain searched for a new way to get out of this situation.
Selphie's eyes started to sparkle as she squealed, "A royal tea party is about as romantic as a royal ball! I would've held a royal ball, but we didn't have all the necessities."
Sora sputtered incoherently. Sora was almost certain that this was worse than the time she made them act out a play she wrote--a romantic play with nothing but sap and fluff to hold it up. Thinking back on it, Sora shook his head. No, that time was definitely worst.
"Well I'm going to inform the others that we're about to start! So be there or else!" Selphie said as she walked out the door, slamming it behind her as she went to tell the others.
"This sucks," Sora pouted. "I don't look good in a dress..."
"I'll have to disagree with you on this one. You look nice in a dress although pink might not be your color. You can also lose the frills at the end too, but you look nice."
Sora glared at Riku, "You're only saying that so that I won't try and get you to trade."
Riku laughed as he hugged Sora from behind, burying his head into the brunet's hair and inhaling the scent of the ocean, the sand, and everything Sora.
"Well, even if you deny that you look good in a dress, you can't deny that you're my princess," Riku said with a snicker.
"I'm not a princess."
"Hmm... Whatever you say."
"You got that right!"
Letting Sora go, Riku opened the door again and bowed to Sora, extending one hand towards the younger boy, "Would you give me the honor of escorting you to this little party," and as an afterthought and accompanied by a smirk he added, "Princess?"
"RIKU!"
And all Riku did was laugh as he grabbed hold of Sora's hand and tugged him towards the destined meeting place. Glancing back at Sora, Riku made a mental note to ask Selphie to hold these tea parties more often.
