(no subject)
*cough cough* I've been sick all freakin' week. I guess that'll teach me a thing or do about kissing a sick boy. Oops. Hehehe.
I ended up missing 2 and a half days of work, but honestly, it felt wicked awesome to just sit at home and chill, plus Im moving this sunday and only have a little bit of packing done. Gotta love being a slacker when it comes to moving.
This weekend before I move any of my junk into the new place I'll take photos of the house (inside and out) to show you folks just how much work I have ahead of me. The place has a nice stucture (very 1920's) so with a little (see: LOT) of work it should be pretty rocking. First thing to go is the horrible shag carpets and tacky as fuck wallpaper. Chris (sisters fiance) is going to help me paint the interior and save me some cash (he paints houses for a living), and my moms cousin Dean is hooking me up with some hardwood flooring deals. Wicked. Gee, sometimes family does come in handy. A one year lease was written up so I guess that means I'll be staying in one place for a wee while, huh? Might do me some good!
I have a ton more things to write about (maybe I should stop writing about home decor) but I need to get back to work so I can get out of here at a decent time.
