I saw your post in the EGL friending meme thread, and it seemed like we might have some similar interests. My preferred style is gothic lolita, and I love Visual Kei, sewing/crafts, and learning languages (especially Japanese). Mind if I friend you?

Knitting/crochet and making headpieces, mainly. I'd like to start making more chokers and wristcuffs/fingerless gloves too, though. What kinds of crafts do you like?

Ooh, I'd love to get into making crochet headpieces! That sounds cool! Homemade wristcuffs are rather lovely.

I've done some knitting and sewing in the past, but now I'm wanting to do embroidery and crochet. I'm thinking that I will branch out this year in my textiles class at school. Do you think crochet is hard?

Currently yes, I think crochet is much harder than knitting...but that's because I've only just started, whereas I've been knitting for years.

Good luck in your textiles class! I tried to take one this semester, but decided I could better handle just figuring out what I could on my own.

Ah, fair enough. I haven't had that much experience with knitting recently, but I imagine I'll find crochet to be harder. You're probably a really good knitter!

Why thank you! Naw, really? I'm finding the guidance helpful, but you're probably heaps better at this kind of stuff than me. XD

I can see where having a class really would be helpful. I tend to be a perfectionist though, so I stress out way too easy unfortunately. I wouldn't say I'm very good yet, but I'm getting there. XD

I am too, so sometimes my teacher gets cranky with me. Naw, fairo. I have a looong way to go before I'm any where near being any good. XD
