Transitioning

A few months ago I finally decided that I should start seeing a counselor in order to primarily focus on what to do about being a frickin' tranny. For as long as I can remember I've been entirely physiologically disconnected from how my body started to develop throughout my teens. It's a silly and super simplified analogy, but it's like I hit ( Read more... )

If you don't mind, you should send more info my way about what seems to be producing the best results for you diet and exercise-wise. If you wouldn't mind emailing me details, it's veganbattlebot@gmail.com! :]

hey bud i dont really have a "best results" thing to send you as such.. i guess its more about working out to loose a bit of weight and to feel stronger and increase muscle mass to feel better in my body. i have a personal trainer - sunnygym on my friends list who is AMAZING!!! and can do stuff online with folks so if you are interested that could be a goer for you?

I'm proud of you. I know we don't really know each other, which is odd considering how often we happen cross each other, but if you'd ever like to talk, i'm here. I've been working with the parents of trans youth group for the past few months, and starting in Jan. i'll be with the trans youth group, so while i don't have personal experience i have a lil background knowledge of the process (emotionally/physically). Either way, best wishes on your path to becoming a more authentic you. :)

Aww, thank you. In regards to support, I'm actually entirely content with my counselor and for more specific support I'm going to start going to the 20's trans group, maybe the adult group also. Posting about it for the whole online world to see is a little uncomfortable, but probably a good thing to do. ;]

So happy for you! Seems like you have it all thought out and are charting your own path. Good for you for sticking to what you want to do and feel is right vs. what the generally assumed method might be.

I can tell you now that it would be a really good idea to stop eating soy. I e-mailed my mentor about useful herbs and will get back to you once he gets back to me.

dude i'm so proud of you too!! i think you have it well thought out and are on the right path for what's best for you. yeah i hate gender binaries too and i can only imagine how annoying it might be to have to work out your "feminine" parts and etc, but i bet the end result will be awesome. how exciting!!

Yep, that gender binary nonsense sure is fun. Totally necessary and sensible! As for the "end result" for me, it will be great no matter what. My brain is much happier already just being greasier and hungrier.
