(no subject)
I didn't go to Porter on Wednesday 'cause that just didn't work out. So instead I helped run around buying last minute groceries with Mom. Then we went over to visit my aunt who was in the hospital recovering about a day after having surgery, she's much better now so we're all a little more relaxed.
Thanksgiving... I've got a lot to be thankful for. But I won't talk about it here... ah the food! I gained about one pound... not bad when think about how much food we ate. Went to Mommy-La's house, played chess with Manong James. Their pool table isn't set up yet but when it's done it should be interesting... Manang Trixy gave me a Breast Cancer Awareness bracelet! It's just like the Livestrong ones except it's pink and it says, "Share Beauty. spread Hope."
So we decided to go to Best Buy, which has kind of been the place we've gone to for the last 3 years or so... Arrived at about 9:30 PM. Tita Laurie and Daddy had the R.V. set up and everything lol. They were the first in line and we set out 2 chairs in front of the entrance... It was fun but maybe not so much for Tito Heze and Dad, they had to sit outside for 9 hours! most of the poeple came at around midnight... Altogether we probably spent about $4,000 but with mail in rebates we saved a couple hundered dollars... Got 2 desktop computers and monitor set things and portable dvd players with about 4 dvd's, Tito Heze got a laptop and a camcorder, I got myself a few cd's, and we bought a radio/mp3 player for the car...
We should do it again next year.
