Ok so I just got from orientation and it was a waste of time in my opinion the only thing that I learned that I didn't know before was who my new guidance counselor was since my old one left.
Anyhow, I can't wait for this week to be over because its only been the second day and i'm already deadtired and swamped with a mess of tests.
Apart I guess junior is going off prettywell but school is definitly not the same cause all of the teachers that i really like have left this year for alot of different reasons and all the rest of the teachers have been moved around to different classrooms and some don't have a permanent classroom at all. Gibbons has only five buildings with classrooms all next to eachother but theyre doing cinstruction on C building which is right in the center and its blocking everything. Dean Ott says it should be done Godwilling by mid sept but i doubt because they have just now put up walls of the first floor and are planning to build around it to make a second floor which seem scketchy.
For anybody interested in medicine, law, technology, or defense, intelegence, and diplomacy and want to do a program over tghe summer i have the power to nominate 10 sophomores/juniors who want to do it. the program is called National Youth Leadership Forum. I did it last summer for medicine in atlanta and it was awesome.
The requirements are:
being asophomore or junior
3.3 GPA
deminstrates leadership potential.
That's it! I hope everyone is having a good time back at school.
