What was wrong with my essay? Electricity has only been around for about a century, right?

[[Chizuru's essay: In the early 1900s Muggles made a box that showed moving pictures. They called the box a 'tellyvision', and the pictures 'shows'. They were a lot like Wizarding pictures, but they were in black and white. A few years later they added sound, so in a way they were better than Wizarding pictures. Soon after porn was invented.

Eventually they figured out how to make the pictures color. In the 1980s they started making little plastic boxes that you could put in your tellyvision to watch the same show over and over and over again. Over a decade later they would instead start the shows inside oversized compact mirrors that were weak and broke when you accidently stepped on them. The end.

(Yes, like many people, Chizuru believes electricity begins and ends with TV. You'd practically think she was an American! XD Sorry I didn't get all my character's essays in; all this travel lately has really made my RPing sporadic. Want me to give feedback on Osaka and Dokuro's horrible essays?)]]

Electricity has been around in some way or form made by humans since the 1600's.. if you'd read your book, you'd know.

[[The first electrostatic generator was made in 1660. *is a nerd*]]

...Really?

[[XD The modern concept of electricity was first developed through the study of magnetic force in 1550 Italy and again in 1600 England, though the words "electric" and "electricity" wouldn't be introduced until 1646 by Sir Thomas Browne. *fellow nerd*]]
