New Fandom! and other stuff like school and ESNIM Sequel
Last post was about this cute couple on one of the current novelas airing which I'm watching now. XDD Not long after I found Fer and David from the Spanish show Fisica o Quimica (Physics or Chemistry) who are just soooooooooooooo cute and AMAZING as a couple!
So Fer before this storyline came to openly accept he was gay and he struggled a lot with it because of prejudice against him but he had his friends behind him, always supporting him and caring for him. Seriously! His friends are just so EFFIN amazing I wanted to tear up when they all hugged him once and they're both girls and guys. So David comes into the storyline and knows from the start Fer is gay and he's all "Oh okay! It's cool!" just like that. But one time Fer, David and Julio (some other dude) went out and got drunk. Julio was passed out and that's when David kisses Fer, totally shocking him. See clip if you'd like! This clip has Eng subs but the ones below the cut don't.
Basically before this David said he never forgets through the computer and plans to meet Fer in the showers but he never shows. So Fer's pissed and David's sorry and Fer pulls him into the showers. Fer tells him to hit him if he doesn't like it but obviously David soooo wants Fer.
Before this, David was with his gf Ruth at the party and he slips away from her and goes to Fer and tells him that he's overwhelmed and that he's going to leave her. The guy in the end, Gorka, takes pix to blackmail David knowing he's not ready to come out to everyone and he sees this as the perfect opportunity to make David hurt Ruth, look like an asshole and make himself be the hero so he can get her back.
So in the end I just fell in love with the entire series and have decided to watch it from the beginning when I have time. I've fallen in love with a lot of the other characters as well and of course I LOVE Fer and David. Even when they're just in the background they look like a legit couple! The waist grabbing, smiling, kisses, a fangirl couldn't be anymore happy. Move aside Luke and Noah, Fer and David win for most legit couple. I still love you Nuke, just these guys rock! And in addition, I'm in love with this song!
Aside from my fangirling over my new fandom and every amazing thing currently popping up in kpop, school and my writing still exist.
School's awesome until now. Just realized there's only about 2 months left till the semester's over. WOW! My art work right now is looking good and I'm seeing some pleasing additions for my portfolio. I'll probably take pix later since I would need to borrow a camera and post them up. ^__^ I also need to get some of them back because they're being exhibited in school and I've just turned in a few of them in for grading. I'm working on an art piece right now and it's GD inspired. I've also planned for a watercolor painting that needs to be finished by Tuesday so I can turn in Wednesday for an art competition. Theme is "Energy" and although nothing came to mind at first, thinking about it with my sister brought up a very good idea, not telling but will try to post as well. After this post I will go back to work.
Moving on to Creative Writing, last week I presented my first short story titled "A Double Whiskey on the Rocks." I was VERY nervous to read it in front of everyone mainly because of the undertones of the 2 guys or at least 1 of them being gay. That wasn't the main part of the story but I incorporated it in there as if it weren't something taboo. My professor and the class liked it a lot which made me really happy! Now I just need to do a few corrections to it and run them by my professor and also put together the other written assignments in my portfolio.
About the ESNIM sequel. Brainstorming has been happening. I've been thinking about it when I have the chance but really haven't been able to write much of it. I'll be honest and say that I've written chapter 1 and was hoping that I could actually manage to work on it regularly and decide to post it sooner than I'd said, but it's proven to be impossible. Had I posted it after I finished it there would be several months of hiatus right after my first chapter and I really wouldn't want that. I haven't even had a chance to revise ESNIM and set up an archive for easier access and put it all together in one nice PDF instead of 46 separate word docs. Homework has to be completed and kpop can distract me, but I promise that when there's a break and I'm free from so much school work, I'll get to it.
Java, my puppy has been difficult to deal with when we take him out for walks. He barks at EVERYTHING. There's no stopping him, until today! So he pulls so hard that he starts to choke himself. D= We can't exactly let him run after cars, UPS trucks, cats, hobos, so we have to hold on to him, but we're afraid to pull hard. We finally decided to buy a harness for him that goes around his body to walk him. Today it was easier to control him and we were able to take him for a walk without choking him and with minimal barking and attempts to run after anything that showed up. Yay!
